I think this or the backhoe version will be my first big CCM-Model. The price is high, but not to high compared to german models like the Conrad R9800 or the NZG Komatsu PC8000

Thank you Tommy for the reviews of these CCM 6030 shovels. One question: are the cylinders for the hydraulic pistons made of metal or plastic?
@DiecastEmporium3 жыл бұрын
The cylinders themselves are metal. The cylinder jackets that house them are plastic.

The price point has me waiting for the 6060FS. One thing that continues to bug me about CCM is I cannot understand why they do not use photo etched catwalks on their models. The 6015 had PE on the CW and in the engine bay and it looks phenomenal. NZG and WSI PE their CW's. Why is it so hard to PE the catwalks???

How's the quality on those sidewalks through time? Did they decay or not? I would agree that CCM might consider doing that on their models (makes the model look way more realistic) but I am wondering if there is a reason they do not do that often. Anyway many model manufacturers are using perforated plates on their models now (Drake models on their tractors, WSI is using them as well as NZG and IMC, YCC, etc. so don't know the real reason).

@@kyprosz They did it on their 6015b model...Many of my models have PE and show no signs of decay.

@@davidundefinedrivera9473 Well i know that they did it on the 6015B. Don't know why they don't do it on their latest models. Its a bit frustrating for me as well, especially in those 1:24 models. Basically, more engine wiring would also make the models look more realistic.
