Troughtons last season as the Doctor was mixed, we had the Space Pirates which was so bad, no one remembers watching it. The War Games was very good but far too long, could of done with a couple of less episodes, as the public viewing figures dropped off a lot, watching this 2 and half month saga. The Seeds of Death was a run of the mill story. The Mind Robber was very good, and a very clever story. The Dominators was just dull, the Quarks with their helium sounding voices were ok, but the actors costumes for this story were an embarassment. The Invasion, very good story, Kevin Stoney was really good in this, and basically outshone the Cybermen. The Wheel in Space, many don't rate this story, but i think its actually pretty good. I nearly forgot the Krotons, the actors didn't rate this story, but the viewing public obviously liked it going by the high audience numbers, and i like it as well. The best part of this season was the interplay between the Dr, Jamie and Zoe, which made the season so much fun, even in the less than good stories.

The Wheel in Space was the last story of season 5. Aside from Sarah Jane Smith Zoe is my favorite companion from the classic era. I wish she would have stayed on for Pertwee's first season. I guess they tried to get her to stay but since Pat & Frazer were leaving she figured she would leave too.

@@jimmyjambhere yes.....you are right, don't know why i thought WIS was last season episode. Anyway, as you said, when Troughton decided to leave, it looks like both Frazer and Wendy decided that would be a good time to go as well! Shame as they were very good companions.
