It answered every question I had concerning the process . . . and one I hadn't thought of. And, I love the holster look-alike design. Thanks for sharing your experience with others; it is much appreciated.

Really Really Nice George ! I do a fair share of sheaths for the Buck 110, and NOW I have another style to offer ! Thanks! I never thought of making it where it would fold over. I bought a new knife and cut apart the junky sheath that was included, and intended on using it as a pattern, but I just really never liked it. But your design really says "Custom" and what a great way to individualize them with the "patch design on the flap. Great stuff my friend !

Thanks George ! Once again your spin on the classic 110 buck sheath is a great design ! Will use that in the future, I'm always making the quick draw sheath for the 110's and that's what I have worn for 30 plus years but from time ta time get a customer that wants a stock sheath like yours... again very nice & thank you for sharing your skills and how you go about making yours !!! After many years I tried to carry my Buck 110 for a few days. It’s just too heavy. Back in the mid 70’s and 80’s it was my only knife. I don’t know how I did it. All the sheaths I make today are now scout carry for lighter, a little bit smaller knives. Thanks for a look at those beautiful sheaths. Any of those could easily be turned into scout carry sheaths. 🔪🎸

Thanks Paul I have always been a fan of the 110 and proudly carried one like everyone did in the 70’s😂 I primarily cater to the working cowboy, rancher, hunter and bushcrafter outdoorsman folks and so I don’t have alot of experience with quick access / quick open style scout carry folder sheaths I appreciate you stopping by and the kind words

Just finished your sheath and my Buck fits perfect, I used 3,5mm leather for the sheath and the weld , did some stamping work on it and put a red color on it with the antique finish and it looks just great. I’m just getting started in leather work and at 61 years old I’m just sorry I didn’t find leather working at an earlier age. I did have to put the snapping stud a little bit lower but I figure this might have to do with using a different thickness of the leather, or maybe I got the measurement wrong which is a mistake easy made for me for I’m not used to work with inches. It was a no issue for I waited with the hole until the sheath was finished and I could put the knife in to get it right. I would like to thank you very much for your pattern and your excellent explanation for if I have to figure everything out myself I’ll be 80 before I het it Right 😂. Again thank you very much George👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, Kees from the Netherlands

Really nice work! I have carried a Buck 110 while hunting for 30 years. The factory sheath is pretty good, but yours blows it away. I wonder if it could be set up for a belt clip? Makes on and off a little easier, especially if you're carrying a handgun on the strong side and the knife on the weak side (which I usually do while hunting). You could probably sell the patterns.

Hey John Agree the 110 is a great knife and I too have carried one for decades. Yes the sheath can be made to mount a spring clip versus a belt loop The problem I’ve had when using these clips is finding quality ones that hold tight Thanks for watching and kind words. Your support is appreciated!!

First off, I really appreciate your continued support of my channel!! Thanks I personally don’t have or use a laser or any computer assisted drawing. I always say, No Rules, so if it works for someone, great. I’ve seen knifemakers cut their leather with a bandsaw too Might be because I’m an old Boomer but thru years of hand cutting I’m pretty accurate. Not always fast but accurate 🤙

I have made multi tool pouch sheaths but never added a flashlight. Might be something I’ll experiment with. Minor issue tho is that there are dozens of multi tools out there. A friend of mine makes em in quantity and buys every tool out there for patterning. I think he has like 30plus😂
