Doesn't seem like you mentioned it but starting every fight with immediately using sunder armour is probably better than instantly going in with a bloodthirst, especially if every warrior in your raid is doing this.

using sunder on your first GCD is a dps loss for you, but a dps gain raidwide. if you're going for parses never use sunder, your tanks do that.

@@Veriouz Unless your guild is using expose armour, getting an instant 5 stacks of sunder should be a dps increase rather than opening with a BT at less than 5 stacks.

I sit at around 50% crit with full buffs and consumables. Gotta love raid buffs!

@@bighesta9546 That probably puts you about 7% or so above the soft crit cap. You could definitely just use dense stones since you will be having HS up so often. Get the Crit cap tracker weakaura. It has been huge for me, as it has let me drop some gear with agi/crit for more AP.

No fire res gear is needed. If you want to be safe you can pre-pop a greater fire prot potion however to help your healers! (and also have a lower chance of death)

I always scuff vael it goes so fast, I’m not sure if I should pop all CDs prior to fight? It’s 18-25 second kill time for us, I use HS/BT and execute, I average about 1.9k but with my gear I should be well into the 2s

If your kill time is 18-25 seconds, you want to prepop diamond flask and deathwish seconds before the fight starts and then you want to pop reck probably 5 seconds in. You need to look up your kill time and see when 15 seconds are left in the fight and what health % vael is at. Check my cooldown usage tutorial video!

Why do you pop reck at 14%? If the execute phase is longer than the duration of recklessness, wouldn't it be better to pop it just before 20% so you don't waste a global?

You can do this on Vael. However its a good practice to look up your reck and DW times before hand and pop them at specific %s. While many can just pop reck and 20 and be fine, some guild kill vael so fast then they need to pop reck at 25%, sometimes even as the fight starts!

Why use a mighty rage potion? Don’t you have 100 rage constantly during the fight? Also, what’s the that pinging sound that’s happening ever so often during the fight ?

Might rage gives you strength as well

Mark - Mighty rage potion is going to give you a +strength buff that you want to have up during the entire execute phase. You can dump a 100 rage execute as soon as the execute phase starts and then use this potion to immediately get another huge rage execute in and start the strength buff. Essense of the red gives you a lot of rage but it still takes a second or two to tick up to 100 rage. If you are getting close to pulling aggro however, use a LIP instead!

Juju power (the plus strength buff) and firewater do indeed stack! Juju might, the + attack power juju, does not stack with firewater however.

I just want to say something that maybe none of u noticed. My fury warrior is a 2h spec one. Believe it or not, bis geared and knowing the boss mechanics, 2h fury warrior can out dps dual wields. In Vael Fights I can make it easy to 2k dps or more. And I have , I repeate, I HAVE to use a LIP. I cannot do HS the entire fight cause as 2h, our HS are gigantic and pull too much aggro, I use cleave and hamstring instead. So if u re a 2h fury warrior, use ur reck like 2 or 3 secs before the execure phase begins and reck at like 9%. Its just an advice, Im not also the best of the best, Im an average player.

@@caribaska Ironically, you're missing his point. You say "2h fury warrior can out dps dual wields." Granted, you're not exactly saying "2h fury warrior is better dps than dual wields", but his comment is that a warrior can outdps another warrior while using a sub-optimal set up. Heroic Strike has a flat threat modifier, the fact that your 2h HS hits harder literally doesn't matter; it actually means, since your overall dps is lower if the same skill as someone using DW Fury, that you will generate less threat than DW, since the amount of heroic strikes going off is less. Heroic Strike rank 8 has a flat modifier of 145 threat. Since 2 handers are slower, it isn't getting near as much benefit from the threat modifier as DW would. That's why all tanks are DW, because their goal is TPS. If you can't recklessness right at 20%, and you can't deathwish from the start, that is on your tanks for not generating enough TPS, even on Horde. If you're on alliance and you're having threat issues, your tanks really need to step it up.

Mistakes or errors I saw that needs to be fixed, in order to maximize dps: 1. No diamond flask usage. 2. Never used Recklessness. 3. Deathwished used too late. 4. When BT and WW is on cooldown with HS queued, you should Hamstring as long as it doesn't intefere with rage / GCDs for other abilities. 5. Atleast 11-12 white autos went through without being queued as Heroic strikes. 6. No pet usage, skeletons, hound, spiked collar or chicken buff as far as I can tell. 7. missing Warchief's blessing Probably more minor min-max errors with the rotation, like starting dps a tad late, or minor delays to BT/WW.

Thanks for the tips! I used your advice on the hamstring usage and it worked well! For this video, DF and Reck were on CD due to parsing on Razorgore but that is still good advice to use those CD's if your trying to parse on this fight. I would love to get war chiefs blessing but that is going to be a long shot on my server lol.

Backfiring Mind control cap = you get MC'd = you can get buff. Or just pay a horde priest 50g to MC you. I just got it on my Ally warrior for Mondays speed run. Now I just hope to god I don't die early xD

too slow .... Killing Vael in 35 sec so as a Fury i used Flask 2 sec before start 2 sec after fight for my tank and then deathwish on 27% , recl in 24% and MRP BUT the main of this fight your raid setup we got 9 fury's Also i make 1.8-1.9k dps
