Cloak of Unyielding Strength isn't from AQ20 per se, it's from being revered with CE. The list leaves off Cloak of the Fallen God from the Eye of C'thun turn in (probably because most guilds will prio it to casters first) but it ends up being bis for p5 when you don't need hit.

could you ask me one question please? I play for fun with my fury spec pvp. normaly i do bt and ww on cooldown but sometimes i have the feeling that bt during hail proc is a waste because it consumes one stack from hail. In a bad case, i use on the last stack of hail bt and if iam not critting the next swings, it takes time to regenerate rage. if i held bt until all stacks hail are consumed, i have the extra swing to get a crit to proc again hail. The problem is, if you critting every 2 hits and hail is going forever the cds are wastet. I hope you get my point and maybe have a tipp. Thanks for your videos, it helpped me bwl a lot. I think the perfect way would be to watch the cd from bt until its ready and then watch how many stacks of hail do you have, and if you have just 1 wait until this ends and then do bt. if more than 1 stacks hail are up, just cast bt. Near the same thing with hamrstring and ww. what about doing 3x hamrstring with pvp fists instead of 1 whirlwind to get the hailproc back?

Hey man, I think you forgot to mention that the T2.5 pieces you mentioned are from token turn ins. That means you will never see the headpiece go to DE. Your guild will likely not be giving you the chest since it could go to another class where it is BIS. Fight Club takes loot prio into account. The C'thun cloak is BIS *BUT* its BIS for hunters for the rest of the game so it should go to them; that's why its not on the list for warriors. The ranged weapons listed there (if your guild is smart) will go to warriors/rogues because the weapon progression for hunters should be Rhok'delar > Ashjre'thul > Nerubian Slavemaker

reminder: ap does not affect execute. That makes popping ES/jom gab during execute range only benefit your autoswings

What do you think about the cloak that drops off C'thun ? Isn't it better than the other one from aq 20 ?

That cloak will be near impossible for warriors to get. The item thats drops for casters and healers is incredible, and you guild should be prioing to casters first. If you are in a DKP or EPGP guild, the competition on that item will force to to hoard for quiet a long time, and the players competing against you will likely be willing to hoard for longer. The cloak of the fallen god from C'thun also SIMs very close to the Drape from my research.

Conqueror's are better than R12 legs. Also funny thing about the blue PVP legs + shoulder combo sims equal to the T2.5 legs + shoulders. You lose 1 crit but gain 13 str and when you factor in world buffs losing that 1 crit is not much of a negative but gaining 13str is a nice boost to every attack that you will do.

Nice vid! ive got a question tho..: when i sim Crul in MH instead of OH i get higher results... also if i put crul in MH and CTS in OH i get the highest dps as edgemasters warr (troll) for phase 5. I know that slower weapons should be used as MH but with crul having so much DPS its better to use it as MH?

Crul has a higher DPS than CTS and your MH wep will miss less than your OH wep.

Hey Hki! Honestly Ironfoe is still a great weapon but I highly doubt it would be better than any of the items on the list. That said, if you happen to get it, for sure put crusader on it and use it! (until you can get CTS). It might be good when paired with the new +4 mace skill warhammer, you should sim it!

The main thing I’m confused about: is there any benefit of going above hit cap (6% with wep skill, 9% without)? Looking at Ony neck vs like the barbed choker, if you’re hit capped, wouldn’t that extra 1% hit be useless to you, and thus the AP boost is vastly more valuable?

hit cap counts for your yellow attacks, extra hit still applies to white hits so still benefits dps to a lesser extent.

For a meme race, what do you think would perform better? Gauntlets of Annihilation / hakkari warblades dual wield, or edge masters with CTS/ that dagger on the bis list? Hakkari warblades together add 6 sword skill, 68 AP and 1% crit

pretty good guide man, Personally the Conq. Legs are amazing, however given rogues will require 5 set with the same item, and we have Titanic legs as a secondary option. In my guild it will be awhile before warriors see those legs unless they purchase the idols themselves. Our guild has seen 0 DFT's doing BWL on reset since release.

Gnome warrior can use Gauntlets of Annihilation when the Hungering Cold releases in phase 6. It has +6 sword skill, so edgemasters can be replaced.

Guybrush is still prioritizing Hit and WS even well beyond the 6% and 305 marks. Not sure if this is accurate. Would love confirmation. Also, just FYI, you are simming 10% OVER your Crit Cap. Lots of important things to consider when gearing up as a DPS Warrior.

He man! why are sacrificial gauntlets above flameguard gauntlets? When you are at 6% hit alrdy, 54 att power is better than 19 strength, apart from the 130 HP extra.

Because hit has value past 6%, it’s just not as effective as it would be for a rogue. Sac gauntlets are offensively more powerful but many people still run flame guards due to the stamina on them. it’s up to you, i recommend taking the stam.

because your white hits get crit capped, the only way to increase the cap is to stack more hit, imo the sweet spot for hit is around 10%

Absolutely love the video! Only comment is I think you completely write off Blessed Qiraji War Hammer for no reason when it will be BIS for most to get. Most won't get the world boss weapon. Most won't get CTS. Most won't get 2% drop Ripper. So that only leaves us with the Blessed Hammer! It shouldn't be overlooked for those who don't have CTS. 60 DPS baseline with 10str 12stam shouldn't be overlooked at all.

Your sentence doesn’t make sense. Certainly I’ve done the simulations, and it’s looking like 3 piece (boots, legs, and shoulders) is BIS with lion heart, annihilation body, and annihilation gloves. I’m just looking for some additional validation and a reminder than there are pvp items that should be considered in BIS lists.

Hey bro - they used to have the PVP gear overlaid in phase 4, however they don't have one for phase 5 unfortunately. You might need to do some googling. I would bet a lot of the AQ is better for DPS and some of the ranking gear is better for tanking. Not sure however.

Great vid, and so glad to see pugio listed as OH for non human/orc. Also from my perspective, as you move away from the super sweaty guilds, the stam and armor from plate has a huge value. In other words being alive with a little less dps than being a dead glass cannon really helps progression. So my warrior is 4/5 2.5, (chromatic boots of course). It might be a dozen dps lower, or hell even more, but its about 900hp more. That really matters. Almost the equivalent of double flasking. With this I still parse really high, pushing all the other skills, but I am much tanker, and as an OT (in a pinch) swapping to a shield I can still tank most aq40 bosses (just not vek).

Items that have HIT are generally only considered BIS if you can properly make use of that hit. So you simming a hit item, when you're already hit capped (even though excess hit helps with crit cap), and then saying its not much of a dps upgrade is kinda disingenuous as to how good the item actually is.

this bis list is very simplified, everything changes depending on current buff situation and specc, gear etc. DW fury running without overpower as an example; mainhand damage is devalued, quicker speed on weapons gains more value. (more heroic strike if you have the rage for it) same goes for orc 2-hand fury warriors with cthun axe, they only want 6% hit and all overhit has 0 value (they can also reach 60% crit before critcap, so their values for +crit items goes up dramaticly) and horde and alliance have different priorities since blessing of kings, alliance generally want more str/agi raw stat items. also try maxing out worldbuffs and AQ40 gear in the sim, 1% haste sims higher than 15 agi or 8str enchants (gloves/head/legs)

wait a sec, you said 60 % crit cap for two hand fury warrior, orc with axe? Why do you say it's that high.. My understanding was that it is around 40-42 % for crit cap, with WBuffs. Can you elaborate?

I think he just means pop Jom Gabbar during execute phase and you'll get more white hit damage for bigger executes (more rage). Either way, you'd definitely use it in combination with death wish, which usually coincides with execute

Scaled sand reaver leggings are clearly bis legs but you talk about them for less than 5 seconds, you gain 1%crit and lose like 2 attack power over conquerors AND the hit from conquerors is never needed unless your gear is garbage

This is not true. While those legs are great, they are not BIS. They may sim that way for you, but that isn't reflected by most people. Sacrificing the stamina and armor of 2.5 legs for +3-5 dps is not smart. Also hit is never worthless, especially if you all full world buffed, then hit becomes more valuable.
