This actually looks graphically really good for a home console in 1982. Most games would have had some single coloured blocky chicken shape at the top, but this disco space chicken looks almost real!

This also has a different themed, rare "adult game variant" for the atari 2600 called "Beat 'Em and Eat 'Em" from 1982 by a different company...

This was one of my favorite games growing up and I didn't know anyone else who had it. It was also one of only a few games that I could actually get my mom to play.

They should have ported some of these atari games to the classic iPod. With the circle pad and the center button, it would have worked great. Missed opportunities...

Discovered last night that a guy I know created this game. Apparently, his boss came and told him he wanted to make a game like Kaboom but with a bird, which he responded by saying sounded like a stupid idea, to which his boss said "I don't care". So, yes, absolutely a Kaboom clone
