I do love how after the dramatic ending they reconcile it with a lighthearted over-the-top "Air Fore One" style mission with a nod to "Airplane." A good way to remind people that it's still just a game and all in good fun!

Since I never had an XBox, I was slow to get into the CoD series. I didn't get to play CoD 4 until a two years before MW2. I was really helping my bro getting thru the campaign on Veteran and I did surprising well for the start. Truly, CoD 4 is an epic game(even more so than its sequel) and will NOT be forgotten ever in my lifetime!

Personally I think Black Ops 2 was the end of its' greatness. CoD4 was amazing. WaW brought WWII back which was good. MW2 was a good sequel to CoD4. Black Ops was a good new IP with fun gameplay that differed from both sub-series. MW3's multiplayer was a copypaste of MW2's pretty much, not a substantial new release at all in technological advancements, but still a fun game and a good wrap-up of the story. Black Ops 2 was a futuristic game, it had to happen at some point and it was fun - fresh gameplay and story. Then, Ghosts and so-on were just laughably bad games.

Glad you gave Call of duty 4 a try, I truly love this game as well, still doing the multiplayer, and I have a lot of hours put onto this game and have a lot of videos of me going multiplayer, really pumped to try MW2 next month that looks awesome. I do disagree though on Cod 2 being your favorite, I like this game more for the fact that it did something different, and brought Cod into the modern day, and I do disagree with it feeling like a James bond movie, it feels more like Black Hawk down, then that. But other then that great review.

I bought this game the other day to complete my call of duty collection. When I brought it home to play it I decided to choose online first. My first match I played there was a freaking hacker, but it was cool because we all got to have his hack for the game, which was speed running. Sometimes hackers are cool.

I have the Wii version of Modern Warfare and even though it is the lesser graphical version, Treyarch did a well done job porting Infinity Ward's game to the Wii. It's even fun to play online, and most Wii games aren't that good online.

It's the most balanced and has the excellent arcade mode Mark talks about in the review. It's best on PC, then Xbox, then PS3.
