My online ranking is in the 6200's and I've only had this game 5 days. But I always hate going against someone in the 9000's, because I'll be in second place and the race will end halfway through the third lap because the "Super Expert Guy" passed the finish line thirty seconds ago. I find it almost unbelievable sometimes.

this looks like a blast. I've played many many hours of Mario cart on previous consoles. Our friends (adults lol) would come over and we'd drink and play Mario Cart. good times :P ps: Donkey Kong was always my fav.

I'm getting a Wii in a couple of weeks and this is gonna be the first game I get! I've just heard awesome reviews about it, in Best Best it's one of the best selling games, I loved the Super Mario Kart on SNES!! Can't wait to get online and kick some butts!!! MARIO KART ROCKS!

This game is awesome. I recommend to anyone. Before I gave my Wii away, I had an online score of over 8600 on two different profiles. I miss my Wii :-(

You get the gold steering wheel for using wii wheel a lot. :) I have a funny story from Mario kart wii: I was in first, DK summit, and almost at the end. My item: A BLUE SHELL!!! I used it(naturally) and then realised what I did. I finished in 10th.

the fun thing about it is even if youre less experienced you will be fighting for every place even if it is the 10th. you dont have that feeling with other racers

the key of success in this game: 50% skills, 50% luck, I hate it when I'm on 1st place, nearly reaching the goal, and then a fuckin' blue shell hits me, then a red one, and finally someone with a star throws me out of the road... still, this game is not on the category of frustrating, I love it.

Online play is one my big gripes with mario kart DS. You basically would try to win with your favorite kart but instead find the only way to win is to use a stupid egg. After that you realize your'e playing with hackers. Same thing with Prime Hunters, Without Friend codes, there was only free-for all, and people would just hack. One blue Moon one of my "rivals" happened to be on that friends list thing, so he joined the game of CTF i was hosting, and that was kind of fun I guess.

For your game, that large bike is called the shooting star (look at the first part), but for me its called the twinkle star? weird but definatelly awesomest game, i have like 13 wii games and this is my second favourite right after super smash bros. i like mario games =D

Did you guys know that if you have a bike while a POW is activated you can still make it out of it without losing too much speed? Just do a wheelly right at the moment the POW block dissappears. You still may lose speed from the item but it wont be as bad.

this game is great but there are some problems with it like karts are at a supreme disadvantage to bikes. and its hard to stay in first, blue shells come way too often ive been hit with a blueshell 5 times in a race before. also powblocks are annoying. but the plusses to this game are great. there are alot of unlockables great challenges and a great online system. its definately a buy.

@poschir tough choice they are both awesome and i have em both zelda gets tougher in the long run but thats what makes a game good. interesting. it feels more satisfying when u get past where ur stuck on in zelda after u get bored and fustrated while mario is fun over time and easy but gets boring after a while of just racing over and over. i suggest zelda

I really like this game but I kinda wish there weren't bike because it's what all the best players use(so do I flamerunner) and it seems like you have to master the drift also which I have done but I wish it was more kart racing like the n64 version or gc. I still like the game but the online scoring can get annoying if I get second because of a blue turtle shell I lose about 50 points or more or sometimes when I star the game it says I lost 1000 points but still very fun game and I'm beast at

@PoisonFogzzzz it has a sound sensor that hears everything in the room. unfortunately, it only works for 2 games. Animal Crossing City Folk and The Conduit. Otherwise, its just a channel where you and your friends. Adding friends, its different in every game. sorry.

@Brayanzip I have 130 hours play time on this game...and i only have it for 2 weeks if you have wifi then you MUST buy this game, it has great online gameplay without lag and there is so much to do in the game so you wont get bored quickly

Online mode has too many problems with chaotic Item use. The DS version didn't have this problem. It sucks to go from 1st to 8th only seconds from finish! Reply if you have been hit by 3 blue shells in one lap.
