The answer is Hell No. If it was 40 dollars maybe. This garbage has a CPU that is weaker than one of those 1.8 GHz core 2 duo's from 2006. Those CPUs can be bought for 1/10th of a dollar. An ACTUAL DIME. This whole package is literally worse than PC parts from 2006. 400 dollars?? Lmfao theyre offloading garbage e-waste onto the market with some old low resolution setting emulators.

This thing can probably emulate Wii, Xbox and even PS3 but the software side has been handled sooooo poorly. With good emulators and maybe a different launcher this thing can probably do very good.

I have a pretty powerful system, Intel I7 8086 Anniversary Edition, RTX 2080, and 64GB of Ram, and I have issues running the Switch and PS3 emulators. Definitely require alot of configuring per game.

You can tell they didn't care optimizing anything and just filled the list with as much shovelware as posible...which defeats the purpose of having a prebuild romset to begin with. Yeahhhh... You're better off making your own build with just the games you want if you're gonna spend hours sitting through menus and testing configurations anyway. These mini PCs are actually a really nice option compared to what Raspberry pis are going for these days. I have one exclusively for PSP and GameCube since it's an easier and cheaper alternative than fixing the dead components on both consoles I own and another one inside an arcade cabinet running 3D arcade mame and Sega Naomí. Both working perfectly

@moranicaceres These little mini computers you see in Amazon all the time use the Intel celeron processor. Which frankly is not very good by today's standards, It's comparable to low to mid range laptops from the early 2010's. But you can get them for roughly the same price as a Raspberry pi 4 but these have some advantages like not having to buy a case or a power supply and having higher specs. These come with a Windows 10 license and it will run just fine, you can do basic tasks with no issues and the RAM and internal storage can be easily upgraded. For 430 dollars these kits are so not worth it, even if they were properly configured. You can buy the same mini computer separate for less than 80, an SSD and a controller should set you another 60 or so and the OS (Batocera) is free and easy to install and it's actually really good when it's configured properly.

I don't understand how almost every single company that makes an emulation station screws up the DS every time. And even when it works, it sucks to play on because of a lack of two screens whit one being a touch screen.

Out of curiosity I searched the processor model and found this exact mini PC on NewEgg for 175 bucks. The hard drive on the store listing seems to be a 2TB Western Digital Blue SATA (ugh) HDD (eeeugggghhh) that's currently going for about $76 on Amazon. Closest match for the controllers I could find are about $17 each on Amazon, meaning a hobbyist could assemble this exact build for around $290. Or, if you have the budget for a $440 pre-loaded Frankenstein like this anyway, love yourself and get a nice mini HP and a bluetooth Xbox controller

I've actually owned this exact mini PC for a year or so now and it's great up to PS2. I doubt it'll do PS3 and I haven't even tried. Bought it by itself, no controllers or anything. I made it a Retrobat system myself.

This thing is garbage, don’t get me wrong, but the PS3 emulator wasn’t “installing” or “downloading” anything. It was loading and processing local files and caches because that’s how that works. I don’t know why you seemingly threw your hands up at the sight of something loading on a supposedly plug-n-play system. If you’re going to be reviewing things like this you should at least brush up on what you’re looking at/read what’s on screen.
