Hey all, what is your favorite Atari 2600 cartridge artwork? Something with lasers, dragons, disco lights and aliens I hope. There's many to choose from! -mark

Well, there's a ton of great artwork on the 2600 carts and some of them have been already mentioned. But deep down we all know the answer is Truxton!

I just realized I've been watching Classic Game Room since 2008. A lot has changed in my life (and probably everyone else's lives too) but the one and only Classic Game Room has remained. Thank you, Mark, for staying with us all these years.

I have a vivid memory playing Atari 2600 with my simblings back in 1985! I remember playing Superman, Spider man, Mr. Postman and Pitfall. The Atari 2600 was my first console and it will always have a special place in my heart.

Damn. I just realized that Lord Karnage is for youtube what Star Wars is for movies and culture. All hail Lord Karnage!

I found a spot near the bottom right where you could stand and fire toward the elevator and repeatedly kill the enemies without ever getting killed yourself. As a kid I taped down the fire button and let the game run until the score "turned over" ... Scored a million points but burned out the cartridge! It never worked again! Seriously! Good memories... 👍🎮

Is it weird that I'm not in the Lord Karnage Club but I still watch these same shout-outs at the end of every video?

According to the manual on Atari Age, the ghosts are "enemy assassins programmed to shoot on sight". I think I prefer to think of them as ghosts.

Dude on the cover looks like he's wearing a Viper pilot uniform. Coincidence that it's from Apollo? I think not

I need to play Elevator Action Returns now. If there's a more CGR kind of game than that masterpiece I don't know what it is.

When I read _Infiltrate,_ I was thinking of _Infiltrator_ by Mindscape/U.S. Gold (specifically the MS-DOS port).

The cover art looks like Apollo from the original Battle Star Galactica. You can't fire from the elevator because the door is closed.

The game cover art looks good but also creepy with that piramide shape in it. The game will get old pretty quickly but it atleast looks colorfull.

Fuck, these games are getting so old that the cover artwork is distorting. Atari 2600 games, while clearly not better, could do sweet vertical color gradients that the NES couldn't.
