9:35 People like this annoy me so much. Super twinked out, health potion and nifty stopwatch literally fighting grey mobs. Randomly fear mobs for no reason, still fine. Randomly panic when you're fine and run backwards to pick up more mobs and let them hit you without hitting back. Then realize you ran the wrong way so try to run the other way. And they didnt even die. They got somebody else killed. Like just have any common sense

@@markj.a351 The lower level warrior put his faith into the higher twinked warrior. The instant the high level warrior feared, I would have dipped. Fearing in a populated area is death. The lower level warrior probably didn't know better. I don't trust random groups or twinked out toons. Never know how bad a person is behind the screen in a random group and, imo, most twinked out toons need that gear to compensate for their poor gameplay. Rarely is twinked gear used to supplement it.

Seemed like he was gonna flame or tilted at the other near the end when the whole situation went left cause of him. Who fears 3 mobs when you’re still above 80% hp AND in a 2 man like what? The other guy wanted to leave as well before you pathed towards more then you left him behind.

I’m Tentoo, one of the mages who died in the 4Horse clip (and the first voice you hear in the vid lol). What a run- most of us never played through Naxxramas in softcore and while it was unfortunate to have it all fall apart, we went out in a blaze of glory. There were some things that we could have done differently in hindsight but ultimately the raid lead dcing is pretty bad on any fight in Naxx. To have it happen in the first 10 seconds, which is the worst possible time for it to happen, is tragic. That timing for us as a guild made us a bit suspicious as we were also streaming- the raid leader’s internet went down. But GGs, what a ride bois

Moral of the story, more people need to know what to do in this event, not saying you all didn’t, but panic set in. There needs to be a secondary raid leader to pick up the slack and not only one big swinging 🍆 that calls all the shots. Sucks to see but you guys made it very far! Drex has always seemed to have that short witted attitude, which I guess is pretty common for a raid leader to have.

Def agree on backup RL. Everyone knew what to do on this fight but we essentially had a single point of failure. We also had to throttle dmg to thane in order to move him back to the corner. That added 1-2 stacks we shouldn’t have had which set the whole thing in motion

Nothing weird about any raiding hc deaths. Guilds communicating for weeks would sometimes die/res 10+ times to classic naxx. To even make it that far in HC is a great feat

I was the rogue in the video at 8:54 - later in the run, as we were walking into the last boss of GY, I somehow slipped through the stairs and died falling into nothingness. Some weird bug with walking down those stairs in stealth maybe. Beware the stairs you go down when entering the room that has Bloodmage Thalnos, you can fall through the stairs.

I knew the rogue and the priest were gonna survive just from the soothe/sap juggling they were doing at the start to cheese that annoying fuckin quest. Also guys like that warrior at 9:35 are the reason I don't play HC myself. I have no qualms with newer players who aren't amazing in retail/classic wow but I couldn't imagine starting a raid and discovering someone that useless was tanking in a one life situation.

If you use that addon you would know the red swing timer is your targets weapon swing timer, the blue would be his character. Therefore , He was not attacking

It's to do with how mob leashing works. If for example two people are on the mob's aggro table, the timer for person number two doesn't start until the timer for number one has ended.

tbh 1 dc doesnt cause a raidwipe but the person who dc'd was their shotcaller and maintank. if the other warriors were more on the ball they could have saved it

The guy who dc'd was a tank, when fighting 4hoursemen in naxx you need a minimum of 8 tanks. Without enough tanks the tanks can't rotate around the room and get rid of the invidual debuffs that each of the bosses apply in a certain radius of them.

The adrenaline hit. It provides a sense of real fear without putting your life or actual wellbeing at risk. In that sense it's no different than 'extreme' sports except for being a lot damn smarter since it's almost definitely not going to kill or maim you.
