I watched this mage clip at 25% speed to finally fully understand what happened. This guy had light of elune on multi left bar 2 and a elune macro on multi right bar 2. He chose to click the elune manually first, and THEN barely a split second later hits the macro to hearth. Ripbozo?

That Desolace warrior was awful, I literally completed the exact same quest yesterday also at level 44 as a warrior, and with half the gear he had. Targetting the disarming mobs first, not pointlessly trying to run away and committing (due to net), using target dummies, dynamite, and using his chest for 30 rage to finish that one mob off with a 2h would have saved him. Running away from a netting mob with no rage, and no weapon is not the way.

During the encounter assassins are spawned that channel a spell on a random player. During this effect, the affected player is stunned. If the channel effect finishes, the player dies immediately. That's why the assassins have to be focused and killed ASAP. However, classics mechanic are tough, overwhelming, complex and require quick reflexes. You can't expect from your average Joe to play the only mechanic and kill a mob within 10 seconds after spawn, that has been called out in voice chat multiple times.

He clicked the Light of Elune and then clicked the macro that was right next to it on the bar. In the video there are 14 frames between the buff appearing and the hearthstone cast starting. That's about 1/4 of a second that he wouldn't have wasted if he had just used the macro.

don't want to backsit alot but warriors in that compil are just hard dogshit and still playing with fire, the one get killed in desolace is the less trash, he basically died because he doesn't have 5/5 tactical mastery, if he had it, he could have kill the mobs with shield block and turning facing the mob, going zerk stance to get berserker rage then using disarm. The warrior in UBRS had 1 petri rdy to use and still stand still, panic, and dying with a petri bound on shift+7 (maybe next time bind it on an emergency keybind) and stay with the group when hunter plan to kite general. The last warrior in the clip is just frightening to watch, he had two mobs on him, rogue had two, he touched one of the rogue mob so he add one agrro on him now... while rogue used evasion, he had disarm ready to use the whole fight duration, and intimidating shout missing on his bar, plus not having hamstring macro in defstance (a macro that make you go in zerk stance and use hamstring there) is just suicidal when you have to kite a mob immediatly

i actually had no macro for a long time, i had my weapons binded to shift+alt 1+2 for 1h shield and s+a 3 for 2h, it worked fine =D

@@Vittrich I keybind my weapon swap macros. For DW/sword and board you can swap both in one button press if they are in a macro, as long as the 1hander is first in the macro. This saves a keybind instead of having to use 2 keybinds for what is basically one thing, s weapon swap. I also would have the weapon swap bound to any ability that requires a shield to use like shield bash or shield block. Just like how I have berserker stance bound to intercept for example.
