The healer was braindead, pumping out like 200hps on a hard hitting boss with FoL... Tank was also bad, but he's forgiven for assuming the healer wouldn't get him killed for a Morning Glory Dew.

the damage isnt really the issue, 300 AA, 600 WW and 1200 MS, are totally healable if you have a healer with a fuckin brain. But this healer has none.

Dps were told to wait out of range which Guzu did but other dps stayed on the boss. The tank died because healing was probably distracted by the other melee on the boss who were told not to be on the boss I think.

The tank died to a parry haste double crushing blow. You can see he goes from 60% to dead in an instant. But it's the tanks fault since he was dual wielding (increasing the chance to trigger a parry haste) using mostly dps gear (IE not having enough defense to reduce the chance of being hit by a crushing blow), not using a shield, not using demo shout, not using shield block to push off crushign blows from the hit table etc etc. @@lightkira4119

I like the Light of Elune 5 seconds from the instance entrance, but instead of running out they choose to hearth (and without a macro). And this is after breaking a successful feign death that you could easily have waited out for the ghetto hearth. The unused petri just perfectly tops it off.

There is a whole lotta places you can’t logout though not just blasted lands. Ungoro crater, swamp of sorrows, badlands, plague lands. Pretty much any high level area except for main cities is dangerous. So it’s not that simple I guess to just not logout in a certain area

i dont really understand people in hardcore trying to sneak the plans out from under overseer maltorius in softcore, its fine, you die, you run back, eventually you will get the plans by baiting him out/sheeping him/kiting his mobs/whatever but in hardcore, you just lost your level 50+ toon for what??? For a chance at like 5k exp for the quest turn in?? its fucking madness when people try to finesse that. there is like very very little reward to this quest, but massive risk. I just do not understand these guys. Its fun and games to dick around at level 20-30 and die in some cave. but by the time youre in searing gorge you gotta play like a real one or ur gonna die

@@dakineprotoss I tried to solo that quest to get the plans as a priest. I cast Mind Soothe on all the mobs guarding the plans, even a rare spawn who had joined them. So four mobs total? I snuck to the side and was about to grab the plans but their aggro range is still enough to see me even with Mind Soothe on them. So, I levitated down to the ground and was safe. I tried it again but they aggroed once again when I was just about to reach the plans, so levitated down again. I didn't try a third time LOL

2:00 displays the incident also known as "Cone of Blood". Zeroji and a mage were soloing Scholomance. The mage was warned to only use single target spells, but mage brain kicked in and he used Cone of Cold to finish the boss. That agroed the whole room and he got clapped.

It's like when I am playing PoE and running a wave of conviction for exposure, and then a phys reflect map shows up and I cast it anyway, several times in the same map, and then die gloriously. I have resorted to simply taking the spell off my bar until the end of the map, and the mage shoul've probably just done the same, habit is gonna kick in sooner or later.

Rogues not knowing the hyenas in DM have stealth detection, name a more iconic duo. Edit: Oh man, there's two clips of this case LOL. Okay, so, the proper way to escape stealth detection mobs (or a mob that has large detection range due to great level difference) is to Sprint away outside their aggro range first and then Vanish. It's a shame cause the dude had both dummy and Light of Elune so it was very easy to escape. Well, now they know for their next try lol. Edit2: Yes, well, Weak Auras are nice and all about tracking your cds and that jazz, kinda useless when you don't use them, innit? And you can use mana-inefficient heals like Flash Heal for emergencies. I guess they wanted to save that mana for their next run.

They could juste have focused them really quick and then gone for the fire guards ... That wasn't unlucky at all, just very poorly played. War still had shield wall, pot, lure and didn't do shit

Not to mention the wall that he died next to is one that you can jump at, stop moving, and you'll land clipped half up it. Jump standing still and THEN move mid air and you can get on it and hide behind the pillar and reset everything. Dude had a free out next to where he died lol. Moonkin is actually great in dungeons. They just drink a lot, but even with all the sitting their damage is excellent (plus aura, emergency heals, CC, stuns...). It's just in raid they're not competitive if you're minmaxing

Both of them are at fault. Warrior for not predicting a damage spike while suffering from MS, paladin for being too dense to use anything but FoL. Probably a former warlock player

Literally listening to a streamer react to the last HC death comp, intentional character name, intentional death to a spot he knows other clips have shown in deaths. Hard to tell since we can't see his CDs. Lay on Hands would have brought him back up but its a long CD and may have been down. Holy Light might have healed more but has a longer cast time. He indeed looked to be spamming Flask of Light but we can't see which rank.

You can see the heals come in every global. The problem is the warrior was mortal struck. Also the boss is hitting him for up to 1.2k when the war only has 4k hp

Looks that way. Can't imagine it makes a lot of sense to go for efficient crappy FoL on a mortal strike boss, when your warrior has zugbrain and is made of paper. I would've needed after dying... not sure if that works

​@@dudo4ok Holy Light does like 3x the healing output. He did a really poor job of healing, falling behind by using the bad heal from the start, not communicating or not bubbling off the debuff. We've all died to healers in softcore before who were conserving mana when they shouldn't have been. Apparently this guy's life is worth a Morning Glory Dew lol. I got clapped by the big Bog Lord at the start of Heroic Steam Vault in very early TBC, because my friend was cancelling heals as to not overheal...

@@Thanatos2k Nah, the average Asmongold viewer isn't actually that knowledgeable. I mean... Asmongold has to explain the most basic things to his audience. He's even quite often wrong on dungeon mechanics an ranged + healer gameplay. There is a reason Asmongold never did top tier raiding (even when being as known as he is) and he never got above 1500 in arena and rbg. He simply isn't a good player and his viewers are obviously worse than him.

Frenzii really needs to be a lot better at this game if he wants to make it to 30. Here's a few things: Healing potions are like 5s each on the AH. there is no reason to run around with 22 low level potions. That's an HOUR of potion CD. You can get a greater healing potion that heals like 500 hp at his level. Instead he chugs the baby potions from Elwynn Forest for 150. Avoiding that mistake alone would have let him live. What mob is skulled? the shadowcaster. Who is he NEVER targeting? The shadowcaster. Who banishes his healer? The shadowcaster. Another mistake that avoiding would have saved him. Thirdly, he melts like ice cream in the sun while being attacked by two Blackrock hunters. I wonder if he could have actually tanked the blackrock gladiators, let alone Gathlzogg. More likely the orc would have just walked over this paper tank. Healing "tanks" like this is like trying to catch a piece of toilet paper as it's going down the crapper. Even with MOTW and PWF it's just dead in seconds. Oh sure, classic meta says you have to tank 2h, because that's what the sweats are doing. Well bozo, the sweats are also running armor potions and food buffs when doing that. Their gear is enchanted.Their gear is good. I'm gonna assume he's still wearing a white piece of mail.
