I just got back into it after a few months break and my guild was dead and the server practically a ghost town. Switched over to defias pillager on alliance and it’s a little better but still a fraction of what it was. I miss when it was at its height with the addon right before official dropped

@@JPKJ11I died picking up blood of heroes at 57 on my mage lol, got a rogue up to 40 that I was taking my time with my professions and they announced official so took a short break. Came back at official on a rogue and everyone was speed running the leveling, it wasn’t about the journey, it was about who was first again. Then sod came out and was the nail in the coffin so stopped at 51. There’s a steady pop now but it’s not as much as with the addon. Luckily all my hc toons were on horde so I’m having a completely fresh experience now as alliance. I just miss the sense of community with original hc, it felt like a true community again. The AH and running dungeons multiple times was nice, but opened the door to botting and other systems that ruin wow

On my server, Nek'rosh, the community is still big and super cool ! On other servers I hope too as well ! No need to have a 'hype' to play a game, thousands of players are still having fun in HC, doing dungeons every day, raiding 2 to 3 times a week. Yesterday for example we killed ragnaros for the first time in my guild and for the first time in my life! What a pleasure. I would even say that the server is better now, much healthier economically, we can see some rares sometimes when it was impossible before ect, a server is not made to be always full. HC hype, thank you for the videos on this channel which also allow us to learn things, stay safe and be happy irl :D

Frost mage is too easy. My first hc char was a frost mage that got to 60 and i was thinking hardcore was easy. Never managed to get another class to 60 so far in more than 10 attempts.

I play on EU server - and it is well populated. There is a high activity on beginning zones. However, there is a tangible decline of population in mid zones because majority of players die on 15-25 levels. The same pattern was during initial months of HC.

Mage played so long on autopilot, as soon as something new happend brain sends a 404 (not found) to it's user.

@@brunoteixeira4974The zombies that come back up (and move slowly) have a 600-dmg melee-range nature attack. You want the casters to deal with them while the melee pick off the skeleton aberrations (magic immune) and the tank holds the plagued ghouls on him. You died to zombies reaching you, while also not using PW:S and cancelling the heal you had queued up, so there's some shared responsibility on that one.

@@octav3k if you look closely you will see that I'm spamming my shield before dying. It was on cooldown before starting to cast the heal. I know why I died, moving to the other room was not expected and caught me off guard. I could have canceled my heal before, but I was ok with the single skeletton hitting me. I move right after I get hit by the ghoul but it was too late.

Dude, some of these UIs are something else. You can hardly see the game in some of them. No comment on the mage... Priest in Scholo doesn't have Healing Focus talented, does not shield himself, uses a slow heal in an emergency situation while being attacked. Warrior charges in on one of the most dangerous packs in Mara while healer is oom, petris while everyone dies. Very entertaining, ty!

5:26 bruh healthstone from warlock should be keybound. I can't even see if you are just hiding your keybinds or actually don't have any. Why even try hard casting when stuff is on you in the first place? Why never use fade? Could have lived if used shield+renew on self + fade for sure, and still have finger on healthstone keybind at the ready. Healthstone is off the GCD as well.

I dont get why people are saying hc is dead. I still find groups for anything in under half an hour, i remember dungeon finder taking 20+ minutes sometimes on retail as dps. My guild is super active, i see a couple hundred people every time a world buff drops, game is popping, from my perspective

After looking it up further it's from an old quest that was removed from the game and wasn't in classic called dead man's plea, which is what you're mentioning. Thanks. I guess they added it back for hc servers? I thought for a second people were trying to recreate m+ feeling with some addon giving people timers in dungeons or something lol

not really a lot they can do for hardcore at this point, they have SSF and they even took out the outdated 16 debuff limit for better QoL. Hardcore is a finished game just like TF2 is at this point you play it or don't your choice.

7:02 died because you didn't hearth. The moment a pull happens while I'm drinking whether if I'm a healer or a damn hunter I'd just start hearthing. The only reason I wasn't hard on the guy in Strath was because they were trying to beat the timer for quest, and when you are on the clock you make more mistakes. There is literally no need to rush in fuckin' mara in the slightest. Let others die for their mistakes, hell everyone else might even survive, the one guy was petried, he's gotta have lived and I think he was the tank you healed to full from 30% mana.

@@neyo9905 I literally just played normally. Was level appropriate for every dungeon (as healer though). Admittedly most groups everyone else insisted on being a bit too high for any dungeon and I did not allow hunters in groups (lmao). There were a few risky quests I would normally solo that I duo'd but otherwise was just the same as leveling any other time except if things started to look bad I'd flee and always keep swiftness pots on me. It was my 4th priest since 2019 if you count the beta so I mean...

I have no intention of ever raiding HC there's all sorts of mechanics that can randomly global you no matter your preparation because the game wasn't designed for HC. That said other than parts of Naxx the raids are a joke so... especially in context of petri meta
