The way that some mobs seem to build up multiple auto attacks when kited is ridiculous. 5:51 5 auto attacks in an instant. And they cleaved and murdered the rogue. I really don't get this... mechanic... or whatever you call it.

It's called [Thrash]. If you download the addon 'classic bestiary', you can see what abilities mobs have in the tooltip after hovering over them. It's good to know which mobs have [Thrash], or an [Execute], and that kind of thing.
