During debriefing, I usually also ask people to raise their hands if they at some point of the activity had thought that they themselves had misunderstood the rules, and then I ask participants to raise their hand if at some point of the activity they had thought that the others had misunderstood the rules. And then I ask them to reflect if this is also what they usually do in real life when there is a clash of assumptions or understanding how "things should be done": if they first look for the source of the clash in themselves, or in the others ...

Very interesting points. Once I was participating in such simulation activity. After game, during reflection I felt that I am still in role of card game. And only on 2-3 question of debriefing could properly reflect and share my thoughts. What do u think, is it important to make some small activity (for 1 min for example) after game (before reflection) to let ppl come back from role of card player? And if yes, which short activities I can recommend?, because I think they should be very specific: should be not long- just don’t let participants to forgot feelings during the activity and save memories fresh...And I think it also should not be very active- also for participants it could be to much:)
