This is the very first boss, Twilight Thorn and i finnaly done it. I couldn't even do this first as it was very tricky no not get hit and it was more difficult than axel. I almost gave up x.x

Not gonna lie I came here because I'm dead Nostalgic for roxas' older Battle voice lines\quotes rather than the Remastered version, he just sounded WAY TOO POWERFUL in this dated version. And the echoes are phucking dreamy asf to go along with it, man. *Sigh* "K-yah!" "Grauh!" "Come on!"

I seriously wish they kept Roxas’s old scream when he got flipped off the battlefield into the sky. The FM yell doesn’t sound as great as the original.

NoobCreations its a mix of Ventus's voice clips and some of Roxas's 358/2 Days voice clips. I wish they had stuck with the original clips as well. There was no reason to change them.

THIS. Holy Shit, I missed that. I distinctly remember the disappointment I had when I heard Ventus and not Roxas. Despite having the same voice actor they had different ways of saying the same things. By removing the old voice clips, they unintentionally destroyed a tiny, miniscule part of Roxas's identity. It honestly makes me kinda sad cuz it drives home that depressive idea that Roxas didn't deserve to live. (I'm probably reading way too much into it, but I hate the new voice clips a great deal)

U never see SORA exert that much emotion into his attacks It almost fits Roxas AND this situation; here he is, cornered by a giant Nobody with no way to control himself after being shackled. Only after he sees a critical moment does he gather his courage and know to strike back with everything he's got

I enjoyed his yell when he fells from the stage towards the sphere. There’s so much struggle in his voice but in the PC port they just replaced it with ventus supposedly but it totally ruined the nostalgia for me.

Roxas, Zexion, and the Twilight Thorn are my favorite nobodies. Roxas is just plain awesome. Zexion proves that knowledge does hurt. And the Twilight Thorn is just beast.

What I find that blows the most about this game, is that this is the only point in the game where you fight Twilight Thorn. I kind of wish that it was a boss fight going into The World That Never Was for the first time.

Honestly, I always preferred Twilight Thorn over Darkside really a shame he hasn't appeared again I know he was supposed to be in Dream Drop Distance but it was cut. Really hope he comes back in a future game, maybe one that's Roxas Centric it honestly was a miss to not have him in 358/2 days if the game ever gets remade (which is so should) they should add him to be a secret coliseum battle or just something of the sort

@@Deathblooms130 -- I agree with you, in finding Twilight Thorn to be a better boss fight over Darkside. It was definitely fun to fight against as Roxas. I hope that Square bring it back, at least as a form of Coliseum (or at least an optional, replayable) fight in KH4, let alone a future installment, that's not a mobile game.

@Freddy Voorhees Ikr roxas is so much better. 358/2 was my first kh game and I was confused I wasn't playing as sora but I immediately liked Roxas and thought he was a more fitting protagonist. He's introverted, serious, dark, and hella relatable. More importantly after 358/2 u can't help but root for this dude to get his friends back, all he wants is a peaceful and simple life

Tbh as much as Sora is a good protagonist for the series I just feel like his character is too goofy and happy to be really relatable. Roxas definitely made a much more relatable and loveable character to me, hell I even grew up on him in 358/2 days and that game helped me through a rough point in my life where I hardly got to see my dad and when he came home him and my mom would always fight and I feel like if it weren't for the series as a whole it would have made my mental state a lot worse. I even have a chibi plushie of him for god's sake. I can't wait to be able to actually be able to fully play though KH3 on my PC. I would do anything just to see him again.

Epic twilight thorn theory: twilight thorn is Roxas as a dusk (like marluxia dusk in CoM) and the reason you fight it and why you see a black coat before in the shot just before the fight is because Xemnas is trying to turn Roxas into a dusk but Roxas doesn’t get turned into one because Diz’s computer is interfering with Xemnas’s dusk turning magic or something idk

it's either Roxas or Riku... probably Roxas because like in KH1, Sora's shadow became dark side... so Roxas's past became Twilight Thorn... or it could be Riku "testing" Roxas out(before he got his original form back)
