Lemon meringue is the queen in the pageant of pies! This was perfect, I could taste it through the screen! You can't go wrong with this winner! Great job !

Marcy it looks delicious! I have to mention that on your written recipe you've forgotten to mention the amount of sugar fie the meringue. 😊

No cream of tartar? I noticed that some bakers don’t use it. When I make mine, I probably will use it and I see where I may add Coconut RUM.

I made this recipe once and used baking splenda because my stepdad is a diabetic and it turned out great. He actually loved it.

I probably let it sit on my counter for about an hour and then put it in the refrigerator.

I always use room temperature eggs and have never had a problem with them curdling because you put them in the sauce pan and then bring it to a boil. There’s really no need to temper them.
