I just bought two Lionel 654 Sunoco Oil Tank Cars from a model train shop. I plan on restoring one of them into its original condition

One of my friends found a near mint 1677 gondola in the dumpster behind a building where a trainshow was being held. He ultimately gave it to me as a Christmas gift since I was trying to expand my prewar o gauge rolling stock roster.

When did Lionel release the brown variant of the 1682?

Have the three 1700 series cars, the Boxcar, Gondola, and Caboose. All are in rather poor shape. Hopefully I will be able to get them usable again. I also have a Baby Ruth boxcar and caboose, forget what numbers they were though. In very poor shape, they will not be up and running any sooner than the others.
