It is so nice to see some classic 80s planes being kept in passenger service! I am still really sad though that the last of the MD-80 series planes were retired from the mainline airlines in the us.

My dad is an ex airplane mechanic; worked for Eastern from the early 80's until they went bankrupt. He always tells me stories about working on 727's, 757,s A300's and L1011's. He will be thrilled to know his airline is back.

Eastern is coming back. They've leased or purchased(can't remember which) 767-200's.

They now have a triple 7 with new livery. Eastern is such a common airline cargo plane in KMIA (one of two local airports) and they fly over my house after departure just about everyday. Gotta be my fav 767 livery

Had the chance to work on this bird for a few months in 2008 before it was sent to the desert. A testament to the quality and care of it by the previous owners to make it worth taking out of the desert and flown again.

That airplane is in dire need of the hockeystick up the tail, the classic Falcon logo preceding the "Eastern" wordmark, and flying under the "Eastern" callsign.

They did but a couple of years ago they brought the airline back. Now they do charter flights

Paint job is nice but they should have continued the blue on the tail. It just seems that it has a paint job that has not been finished.

Come on... The drooping stripes on the tail look horrible and no other airlines do that! The engine color is okay but send it back to the paint shop for the EAL hocky stick look!!!

this is not a EA livery from the 70/80s no hockey stick on the tail and this is what eastern no 3 The real EA never flew the 767 and they didn't paint the L10 engines
