Can I just say that these guys have amazing comedic chemistry and Murray Hewitt is maybe my favorite television character of all-time. I have no idea why this show didn't catch on more than it did. The humor is so dry and so perfect. All these years later, I still come back and watch now and then when I feel like smiling. I wish the whole episodes were on YT. Fantastic.

it is funny. i m not sure whether it was shown in the UK, and i missed it, but it really would ve been popular, its a bit like the office or it crowd, but has that nz identity.

On the show he is the Cultural Attache for the NZ Consulate in New York. But the real guy, Rhys Darby, is a comedian...I have tickets to see him live next Saturday in So. Cal. Woooo Hooo!

Rhys Darby (hope I spelled that right) was AMAZING, as was most of the cast in Flight of the Conchords. Although I found the show to be a bit too silly, everyone did a superb job. Rhys needs to be in more shows!
