Classic Muscle Car Cold Start - 1973 Plymouth Satellite / Roadrunner

We're Back!! Sorry for being away for so long.. We hope to have uploads back on a somewhat normal schedule!
In this video we start up the Plymouth on this cold winter day.. She was grumpy, tired, and hungry for some fuel.. and it sure sounded good to hear this classic American muscle car fire up again!

What a nice car. I had one about 25 years ago. It was a 1974 Road Runner/ GTX, U coded with 440. Miss that one. Have a 1968 sport fury today With 383 super commando. Take care of yours.👍

Beautiful automobile. Yeah those old carbureted vehicle requires several cranking attempts and lots of pumping to get them fired up on cold winter days. Great camera angle on the cold start. Would it possible perhaps on your next cold start video if you could leave the door open so we can see more of your cold start technique? Thanks for sharing!

Old school mopars don't die,they go faster lol! I knew something was up w the kehm crew,you got hit w some snow,I'm in nj and we didn't get shit lol! The snow this year wasn't as bad but according to the farmers almanac we are supposed to get one or 2 good storms before winter says adios,good to see you're still around hayden!

Thanks man! I unfortunately haven’t got anything else really done on the camaro since the last video.. I hope to knock a lot out on it here soon! The Plymouth needed it’s air shocks and rear tires refilled, the rear is usually higher, it was sitting pretty low in this video lol! Thanks for sticking around and for watching as always!

What could cause barely a lil pressure and gas to come out the shratter valve. I ran out of gas and now this is happening. But had good pressure and gas squirting out it before. My guess would be the fuel pump maybe. From running it so low and it sucking up dirt and clogged somthing maybe.

Hmm I’m not 100% sure. Could possibly be the fuel pump or maybe a clogged line or fuel filter. What car are you having this problem on?

It doesn’t really shake but it does have that old school muscle car rumble lol. It does take a few cranks to stay running especially when it’s cold and been sitting for awhile.. Thanks for watching!

It’s a satellite Sebring plus. It has the roadrunner hood and horn.

Actually just a 318. Edelbrock intake and 4bbl carb, hooker headers. 3” straight pipe. Maybe someday I’ll swap in a larger engine but I’m happy with the 318 for now! Thanks for watching!

@@thekehmcrew Just the modifications you listed allow that engine to breathe like nobody's business and could net a couple dozen HP possibly, if everything else is stock. That 318 was bulletproof, as evidenced by quite a few of my classmates back in the late 70's, with some of their showoff goof-off "antics" - like revving to almost redline and slamming it into gear. One classmate who had an old Polara did that one too many times and the driveshaft came rolling/bouncing out from under the car. Transmission fluid was everywhere. But the engine lived to see another day and ended up crammed under the hood of a Dodge Dart!

It does have a comp cam in it, can’t recall the specs at the moment I’ll have the check my build sheets that came with the car when I bought it. It’s a 1968 block. 318. Edelbrock intake and 4bbl carb. Hooker headers. 3” dual exhaust.
