Oh my goodness this video was fantastic. He carried on a conversation with the camera"man" trying his best to get a non-talking cameraman to talk. This guy was a hoot. Enjoyed every minute of it.

Love this! You can’t knock this good ol’ boy, he’s doing exactly what he does best. His methods are the same that he’s been doing since 1959 and you gotta appreciate that, the haircut turned out very nice. I had a huge smile on my face the whole time.

No words of 'fade' or 'graduation', just good old fashioned tapering with electrical haircutting at its best with no grades just bare clipper and a comb then going into thinning scissors over comb......no sectioning, washing hair first and ponsing around with products just good old fashioned barbering techniques and conversation. I used to get haircuts from Joe the Butcher when I was a kid. I remember there was an old fashioned vending machine with glass bottles of coke in his shop. A buzz cut and a coke in a glass bottle? Win.

Man, I’m only 25 but watching this video reminds me of being 16 and going to our local barber who at the time was 81 and hearing a different story every two weeks while getting the same old haircut but always a different story and the usuals sitting and shooting the shit

That is a good short haircut. I find many younger barbers are good with the clippers and fades, but he clearly understands hair and how to cut it. I know you can't get a major cut every month, but its nice when you hit on the right barber at the right time.

This guy reminds me of a local barber friend who's retired now. He'd do the haircut the same way, with the blending shears. The quote, "know your tools" was something else he taught me. This was fun to watch!💈

Once again Harry you have done it!! Great video one hell of a barber not many like him left. Reminds me of my old barber A.V. Hardin and Jack Mintz . They both learn how to cut hair in the military in WWII both went to barber school after the war and set up shop in town. Both are gone. The greatest generation!

Joe's comments on the previous haircuts reminds me of the old saying, "the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is two weeks." I loved watching Joe work. He's done this thousands of times and the muscle memory just takes over. Harry wound up with a fine haircut.

You can actually see the blending effect coming in, I think Barbering is one of those things that when your an old hand it's actually a good thing. His Patter is superb as well, my barber gives me Gyp but is really good at what he does.

A lot of people like to say that talkative barbers are annoying and makes for an awkward expierence. Well guess what? Maybe those same people who think that need to work on their social skills so they don't get uncomfortable during small talk. I absolutely love a great conversation during a hair cut. I often talk more than my barber. This was a great video and a great barber!

I don’t know how that haircut worked. He used clippers that looked like they were bought at Costco and the scissors sounded like scissors you would use for Arts and Crafts class in 3rd grade. However, in the end, it was a great cut. Amazing! Great personality too!
