In July 2022 I went with my really good friend Tom to the classic remise car show in Düsseldorf. It was incredible to see what kind of cars they showcase there and what kind of value is standing in one garage. You can see exotic cars, hyper cars, classic cars and super cars , it was just amazing to see. I hope you enjoy this. Which car would you pick?

Mike , you missed a huge clue about those tractors. Those tractors are made by Lamborghini. That what they started out as. Then they started making the cars to compete against Ferrari. I think they succeeded. Take care & say hi to your wonderful mom.

Great show! I loved the old VW's. I've driven several 2000-3000 mile trips. While the "Fast Cars" are lovely window dressing, I wouldn't trust their reliability. When I was 22 years old, I was able to rebuild a 1971 VW Karmann Ghia engine with good tools and a couple of manuals (except for machining) while my husband was deployed overseas. My toddler son and I ran the west coast for 4 months in that car. Those were the days!

wow, now thats a collection of cars there! 2:16 Jaguar XJ220, wow...and a BMW Z8! A BMW Z8 sold recently at the Mecum Car auction in Arizona this past weekend. Elton John and the Sultan of Brunei were among the first handful of people to order that vehicle when it came out in the 90s. 3:28 a Mercedes SLR. What an amazing place. 4:36 Volkswagen GTI Rallye oh my gosh you seen it all there. Twin Lamborghini Diablos in white and yellow, oh im melting :). My dream is to visit the VW or Audi museum in Ingolstadt and sit inside, and maybe drive, the 80s Audi Coupe Quattro rally car, the Audi IMSA GTO Touring car that Hans Joachim Stuck drove, and a first generation Lamborghini Gallardo.

A nice selection of old and new classic cars. So many favourites there. In particular, I like the Jaguar XJ220, but I prefer the first production car that was unveiled in silver with silver alloys. And unlike the big boys like Mercedes and Ferrari, workers at Jaguar built the XJ220 in their spare time, on a limited budget. But unfortunately for Jaguar, when it was released during the early 1990s, there was a worldwide recession, which impacted the majority of western countries, and nailed the final coffin in its demise. As for James Deans car, the car he sadly died in. It was a 1955 Porsche Spyder dubbed “Little Bastard.”. Also, in the Knightsbridge area in London you see many of these types of super cars being driven everywhere by young, rich guys from the Middle East. They bring them over during the summer, with their own personalised number plates from their country and drive them in London for 3 months, before shipping them back home again. It’s just pure extravagance, on a level that’s obscene, when so many in this country and elsewhere are struggling with the cost of living crisis.
