Hi , Griff was curious how can u hear at high speeds if u got the sixteenth notes right on the next click ? I noticed u can’t count it at those speeds .

Your question is a good one (and I'm a HUGE Satch fan so love the handle). What you're really asking is the key to speed... your fingers are fast enough, but if you can't yet hear the subdivisions and know if you're on, then you won't be able to play at that speed. My suggestion is find that speed where you're not sure, then do a little bit below and a little bit above and play around at 10-15 beats below and above that point where you can't hear it yet. Soon it'll get better, but you have to work at the faster speeds to force the issue. Also, when you play a lick slowly, really pay attention to what note you strike on the downbeats, and use them at the faster speeds to gauge if you're in sync or not.

Pull off is the correct term. You can't americanise everything.

Hammer-ons and pull-offs are both types of slur. The term slur pre-dates both of them which are much later descriptions popularised by the American folk singer Pete Seeger.
