I'm going to miss your tutorials but very glad to learn your product line is going well....I will definitely need to try. As a newer licensed barber I return to these videos to learn from the BEST. I have a lot to learn and would appreciate any mentorship/ class if available? Have to admit I'm a little overwhelmed as a newbie. Thank you!!!

I really enjoy your videos, even if I'm not a barber. These videos guide me for ideas for a new hairstyle. I would like to see the apart videos of how to style these cuts. I would like to see a comb over haircut, but without the skin fade, I mean, a classical comb over cut and how to style it.

See I love this video. I have been cutting friends, relatives, and family members hair for 24 years as well as myself. I'm not a barber. I don't work in a shop. Just a guy who likes to groom and is linear and likes nice cuts and lines and all old school barber stuff, lather machines, straight razors, all kinds of clippers, etc. All the methods demonstrated here I learned instinctively to execute myself, just because that how all of my haircuts were done, even to this day most use the same methodology. I watch all these other barbers on You Tube who do great work. But what the hell is it with all these guidelines they create and all these repetitive useless flick out methodology they do when it comes to fades regardless if it's a high fade or a drop fade. It looks so annoying in practice and so time consuming and repetitive. They got like 4 different guidelines going on that they have to back and flick out! Regardless of which way you want to go. Fade down or fade up. Just remove the bulk. Just pick an imaginary line and blend into it with different sizes, angle of wrist, clipper or shears over comb. Although I will say my favorite part is the outliners. I never thought to hit my lines first and shave to it. I hit and scrape away. But I can understand how that could cause neck irritation.

One guy comes in my shop and has his part NOT where it naturally wants to part. So I cut it, it sticks up and looks awful, but that's what he wants. I feel embarrassed when he leaves the shop because it looks like I've done a bad cut, but that is how he wants it. So frustrating

I know how you feel. Back when bowl cuts were in I used to joke with my customers not to tell anyone I cut it Lol

@@GregZorian LOL!! Greg I have another practical question for you. I have a young boy who plays a lot of soccer who comes in my shop with his grandfather. He's about 10yrs old. He has shoulder length shaggy hair which he loves and only comes in for a trim about 3 or 4 times a year. I've not had my own shop long and would value your opinion what to say when only half way through the scissor cut all over he starts to say "Have you nearly finished yet, this is taking ages". Quite a few little kids have said that and I don't know how to deal with it. Also, what do you do with parents who like to hover over your shoulder watching every single cut you make?
