I've tried so many recipes for dinner rolls and I have NOT gotten it right, yet. I saw your recipe and I am making yours now. They have been rising almost 1 hour. I did a batch last night from another youtube recipes and they smelled absolutely Heavenly when they were baking but they were difficult brown and they were hard after baking. My mother was a master cook. When we were kids, everyone in our neighborhood use to say, my Momma could throw down with her dinner rolls. Over the years she stopped making them and she forgot how to make them. She passed away a few months at the age of 94. I would love to carry on her tradition of making homemade rolls and I am going to keep trying until I get it right. Thanks for your recipe. Will let you know how they turn out. I just took my rolls OUT of the oven and they turned out ABSOLUTELY GREAT. I have been trying to make homemade rolls since the 90's. NEVER got it right. I am so excited. Getting ready to do a double batch. My mother would be so proud of me. I am PROUD of myself. I finally got it right. THANK YOU so much for your recipe. Happy New Year!
