One of the saddest aspects of the situation, aside from the fact that a Harris presidency would be a complete disaster, is that should she win, that cackling numpty Harris will have the honor of being titled the first woman president. It would be a shame for that accolade to fall to someone so objectively undeserving of it. Palin would have been a horrible President if McCain had won and something happened to him, and would have been similarly unworthy of the title. Clinton would have also been a horrible President, but at least she would have earned the position to a degree, through a hard-fought campaign for it. Of course, I would rather have our first female President be someone completely worthy of the title without any caveats. Someone not riding the coat-tails of their last name, and not being carried through on the back of their running mate... and certainly not appointed to the position by the demise of the person above them, which is one reason I wholeheartedly don't want Biden to resign his term.

@patrickbateman1660 Back then, Biden was against gay marriage, too. Trump was a Democrat. Surplus was smoke and mirrors finances in my nonpartisan opinion. Besides, Bush doesn't get the credit for the economy turnaround. He consolidated military bases, closing a whole bunch of bases. Bush per Time magazine was responsible for a huge reduction in nuke weapons. He made concessions to detriment of his reelection. As for Bill, he was a captain of a ship sailing in claim waters, saying he was a great captain for the smooth trip.
@chuckleberryfinn19923 ай бұрын
The surplus mentioned in the clip, the conservative House played no small part in that . Given that is the body that legislates the spending bill. Every year. the public loves the spending . Absolutely loves it. Demands it. You know what makes for a good politician? Getting elected. You know what makes for a great politician? Getting reelected. The public does the electing, last I heard anyway. Like term limits, ever heard anyone say "we need term limits", perhaps you've even said it . Terms are limited. They expire every two years. If they shouldn't return for another term, pull the limit switch, don't send them back. The fact there's a view, seens widely held, that the money you are allowed to keep , what's not taken in federal income tax, that's considered an expense to the government . Look at what is said sometime. e.g. "Don't tax the tip" will cost $200 billion over the next ten years. How dare they take our money !! Right ? Wait... What is ever cut from spending? Jack splat. It may not even be legal to cut spending, because that hurts people. You don't want to hurt people? Right?
