A compilation of some of Jackie Robinson's highlights at the University of California at Los Angeles. Jackie Robinson was one of the most influential people in the history of the United States for his role in integrating Major League Baseball and his impact on Civil Rights. However, before his trailblazing professional baseball career, Robinson was a dominant tailback at UCLA. During his two years in Los Angeles, Robinson displayed the speed, throwing ability, and tenacity that would become his trademark on the baseball diamond.

The part of the movie 42 when the racist restuarant wouldn't serve Jackie was actually something that happened when he was in college. And the person who told them that if they wouldn't serve Jackie then none of them would eat there was my Grandfather Ned Mathews. One of the 4 HBs that played for UCLA. He went on to play for the 49ers and Lions

My great grandfather Ned Mathews played as a tailback with jackie at ucla and a qb.. went on to be great friends... he went to the nfl

Not only was Jackie the first Black Baseball player in MLB, he was the first Black QB for NCAA football. I could be wrong but I just might be right! Another thing, his Career Accolades were his All American honors. Great job fam!

lol I didn't know either, until I started working on the video. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of footage I found. There's more complete games featuring Robinson in the 1930's than there are featuring Ladainian Tomlinson in the late 90's.
