That onside kick really was brilliant, and it’s something no receiving team would be looking for.
@Jbreezy422 жыл бұрын
@ya boi koi no because the kicker recovered it it’ll be the kicking teams ball since the receiving team didn’t recover it. If after a certain distance, I believe 10 yards, the ball isn’t recovered from the kicking team then it’s a live ball and the kicking team can get it for possession. Look up onside kicks for this.
@EvboiMC2 жыл бұрын
Pat McAfee mentioned wanting to do that for a long time. The second he saw that the receiving team put nobody up the middle, he was ready for it.
@hardkore3602 жыл бұрын
onside kicks are normally done prior to the end of the 4th quarter when you NEED the ball back to either tie the game or win, otherwise you give up possession and lose the game because you simply run out of game time.

A lot of great plays but I’m most amazed by the pitcher throwing out the runner using his left hand.

4:27 NGL, Russ hitting a clutch 3 is probably more impressive than Steven Adam’s intentional FT miss. Steven Adam’s is weirdly REALLY good at hitting the rim for these intentional misses. Also, I remember when Demarcus Cousins hit the BACKBOARD on an intentional miss to grab his own rebound. One of the dumbest things I have EVER seen from a pro baller.

Westbrick is a nickname from this season. Before this year he was known for being decent at the 3 line
@VMBFV Жыл бұрын
@@brickhouse2265 No, he wasn't. Unfortunately for him, the Westbrick nickname dates back to 2018, something like that. He's shooting poorly since then, at least.

3:14 AHAHAHA that is by far my favorite! OMG. I love it. That takes some swallowing of your pride to do that, too. All for the team, though! (How ironic that neither of the teammates involved in the play show any appreciation whatsoever. In fact, they walk away like *zombies* - very interesting phenomenon here)
@patrickdaly50682 жыл бұрын
Notice that the ump called the base runner safe because it was an illegal move by the fielder. That’s why his teammates didn’t get excited.
@Frankincensedjb1232 жыл бұрын
@@patrickdaly5068 that's what I thought. You can push a ball foul. Stupid
@tadimages12 жыл бұрын
@@patrickdaly5068 No... that was not a safe call. That motion by the home plate umpire signals "foul ball." It was a foul.
@Dreybaconjr2 жыл бұрын
@@tadimages1 when that happened the umps discussed it and said that it was illegal. They gave the batter first base
@tadimages12 жыл бұрын
@@Dreybaconjr 👍 Makes sense if they had a discussion. I just wanted people to be aware that the ump raising both hands in that manner is not a safe call (which is lower) but it's a foul call. Thanks for the info.

9:05 At first I thought it was a “wild” throw that was intentionally meant to hit the wall and the Catcher made the awesome play. Then I realized it was actually the Base Runner who made the spectacular play by jumping over the Catcher to land on the base to avoid the out.
