I never understood why so many people are concerned with stormstrike taking a debuff slot, it goes away almost immediately if you have rogues with poison on their offhand or a boomkin.

In SoM i raid as a Enhancement and its hilarous, sometimes im third in boss fight dps and sometimes tenth. It would be very nice to se a dps meter for every rotation but besides that, its frcking awesome^^

Coming in real late on this but you know, I've always been a huge fan of underdog specs and watching them blow minds. I've seen some good parse data for Enhance Shamans out there but I fail to realize how they keep consistent damage going when WF is so inconsistent. I've watched your vids for the specs as well and I understand the concepts you present but I'm having a hard time making them work myself, some fights I pop off and beat some fury warriors/rogues but then the rest of the fights I may as well be totem twisting. I was wondering if you have any links/videos/guides or advice on how these STRONK enh shamans are existing, are their raids catering to them or are they just lucky, I'm not sure.

you get every buff in the game, you shock on cooldown, you twist fire Nova totem into searing totem on bosses that aren't immune to fire and then you make sure you are in a guild that kills a boss quickly. All those things together you will do great damage.

Amaëlle pretty much all fire spells are useless in MC except on maybe Shazzrah. In MC you’ll be using frost shock and that’s basically it. Tanks won’t be able to hold threat against ES.

Great channel! was determined to heal my way through vanilla, but to be fair, fuck that. Enhancement it is. Regarding weapons though, would Brain Hacker be a reasonable early-tier weapon? 2.1 speed 2h axe as an orc obviously.

For your "chadhancment" rotation you forgot the step where you wait on the ground as a dead corpse because you pulled aggro and died with all those earth shocks.

hey holder. isnt it better to buff WF on your weapon if you do the SAD rotation? or doesnt it work? i mean if you have the timer of your wf totem on an addon and dont relie on your own wf totem timer on your weapon. Thanks mate love your vids

have you tried playing around with the Manual Crowd Pummeler? seems the new hybrid class thing maybe spell damage gear and flametongue with a pummeler something like that

barrotes ghito I haven’t tried it myself but ive heard doesn’t scale for us the way it does for paladins and druids. Also I would never wanna farm hundreds of those things in any lifetime.

On the twisting/sadness rotation, are you NOT applying windfury to your own weapon just so you can see the duration of the totem's buff? I mean, if you're able to count the 10 secs while having your weapon enchanted with normal WF, maybe the dps won't be THAT bad I guess, or am I missing something?

mojazu you enchant your own weapon. I just did it that way so you could see the buff duration, as if you were other people in the party.

For pve there is no choice but orc if you want to do maximum min/max damage. For pvp it could be anything.

Hello! I am new to classic ench sham can someone explain me why use stormstrike after hit ? I have a melee swing timer and dont seem to reset the hit timer so whats the point ?

Jetixx we thought it reset the swing timer but it doesn’t actually. New info > old info.

Funny thing about storm strike: you actually don't need to wait auto attack to cast storm strike cause instant spells doesn't affect your auto attack swings at all. So if you click storm strike right with auto attack you will see that you did two hits. The same thing with the instant spells, you don't need to wait your first auto attack swing to spam your shocks/purge between your swings. Just spam those 😄 I think this has to be highlighted 😉

S Arico nah, there are tons of damage bonuses on frost shock from other classes so that’ll be your main CD.

I'm confused. When in a raid, do I go chadenhancement rotation, triggerd rotation or totem twisting?

Depends on the raid and your role in that raid. Chad is max damage but also max aggro. Totem Twisting is max utility minimum personal damage. The others are in-between.

Brainhacker is the best pre-raid pve weapon we can use aside from Treant's Bane, which I consider to be impossible to actually acquire. If not impossible, a huge time sink.

I raid enhancement and in MC tonight Finkles lava dredger dropped and was told it was not good for me so they did a free roll and healer won it.

lithiusx ask them if they REALLY care about two stacks of corruption and then if that doesn’t work ask them if they are pushing sub 1 hour MC times because those are the only two instances where the SS debuff matters AT ALL. ...and then if that fails just go 21/30/0

MR. J check out my leveling stat priority video. Weapon speeds don’t matter when it comes to 2 handers. Always orc.

set realmlist to west.kronos-wow.com the PTR has attack-able target dummies in the UC. Two things to note. Their armor is very low, I assume 5 sunders armor value and they don't dodge so all parses should be lowered by 6.5%. Have fun!

@@Holderhek Thanks. I did some testing on those dummies, for some reason these dummies get hit really hard. Are you sure these are accurate boss dummies? Any other dummies I've tested on the dps is never this high.

Trox1000 they are definitely full sunders. I have no way to know beyond that. There isn’t any sort of damage modification as every spell hits for what it should as I have zero spellpower. Beyond that I’ve had rogues/warriors test on the dummies and get parse equivalent dps. The dummies on repacks have 5600 (heroic) and 3600 (regular) armor. Or something very close to that.

Patrick O'ryan nightfall procrate is garbage. If you want any uptime on it at all give it to an offtank. Twisting is better utilized by the semi afk resto shaman with basically nothing to do for most of the fight other than spam chain heal.

@@Holderhek Yes? From January onward there'll be Nightfall, Annihilator, and 2 for Thunderfury. In AQ there'll be Dragonling debuffs, ignite, etc. There's no room for this build... Just like there's no room for moonfire/insect swarm, or serpent sting, or rupture. Like I said, only trash guilds will let you take up 2 debuff slots on those abilities.
