I love your songs and I can see you put work into preparing the lesson but I wish there was less talking so I could save it as review material.

I prepare all of my tutor boards before our community day. I stick everything to a white board with masking tape. As we go through each strand, I pull off the board. On days where I am teaching songs that span more than one week, we sing that week of information only. The next week I introduce that week’s memory work and then we add on to the song. I am a big believer in standing while we do our memory work, so my class is very active. We stand for the entire 30 minutes while we are going through the 7 strands of Memory Work each week. We are constantly moving our bodies. This engages all learning styles at once: visual learners see my funny pictures and make connections, auditory learners are saying and hearing the memory work through songs or chanting, and kinesthetic learners are engaged through creating the muscle memory movements. **I usually reserve Geography until we are gathered around the table for fine art. I have 9 2-3 grade girls this year. Our biggest challenge is staying on track during presentations. One of my classroom jobs is time keeper. They keep a timer during presentations. Each girl is on a strict 2 minute time limit. ☺️ I keep my review games very simple and inclusive so that no one feels singled out.

I found the linking verbs on CCC but I don’t see the first page with the definition. Is it posted somewhere?
@KristiGaddy2 жыл бұрын
The first page is not on CC Connected because it is hand drawn and handwritten. It doesn’t photograph or scan well. 😢
