This position feels awesome, even with my acoustic steel string guitar. Question: I am using my right hand pinky to brace my picking hand. I understand that is folk rather than classical style. Can I get the same strength and accuracy without bracing with the pinky? Thank you again for the beautiful video.

You can do that, early guitar did do that but the right hand technique and angle were different. Overall though you dont really want to brace on the sound board, if anything a light touch is okay but the tension that comes from leaning in on the pinky will travel to the rest of the hand and that bracing also restricts the ring finger alot as the tendons are closely connected so you will actually get a more powerful strike from not bracing with the pinky and simply keeping it relaxed. But another issue with bracing at all is it puts pressure and weight on the sound board, the sound board's vibrations are what makes majority of the volume and alot of the tone of the guitar. Even just a little extra contact like the pinky down, especially rigid and pressed in to the top, will change that vibration and dampen the sound at least slightly. Its more noticeable if you strum and then place the palm on the body or the elbow too far over. But every little piece of extra contact directly to the sound board will change how the sound board vibrates. Really we shouldn't think of posture or right hand technique as specific to one style or another. Its just what is one healthy for our hand and wrist and two most efficient for the hand to utilize what we need to play music as easily and naturally as possible. So its really a matter of healthy technique or self-taught technique or even just plan bad and possibly damaging technique. Even in playing banjo the right hand should really be used in the same way as well only with possibly differences in finger pattern/alterations.

You can use a strap like on other types of guitars or use something called an ergoplay which is basically a little stand you stick to your guitar that rests on your leg. You can ajust it however you want as well. You can also use a leg cushion that you can probably find in a music store
