Dear viewers. Finally I managed to release the 1st part of the new series. I really want to see your comments, observations and impressions. I understand that in the first part it will most likely be difficult for you to get used to the design, understand many incomprehensible and quick situations, and also have time to count points, but I think that over time you will get the hang of it. Unfortunately, I will add information about the situation due to which I had to postpone the release of the series by a day. The excellent quality of the video on my computer is slightly degraded by KZbin when loading, adding “blurriness” in some places. Therefore, for the next part I will try to analyze the problem and find some way out, most likely through replacing some elements. Since the first part is somewhat experimental, for the second part I will review your main comments and make a number of small changes, without changing the main concept. I hope for your understanding and wish everyone success and good impressions when passing the quiz!

75, could be worse. I suggest start with the easy ones and then get harder, that would be easier to follow than jumping around.

@@christopherpickles7541 Congratulations on a good result. There is logic and sense in your proposal, but there is something from the original game Jeopardy in the random selection of category and difficulty, such an illusion of player choice. Thanks for your feedback.

I loved this format, listened to it with my boyfriend again, and we got 86! Had so much fun, one of the most fun formats, along with the soundtrack or classical series. Only suggestion is to maybe vary the music between rounds? Maybe even different pieces depending on what difficulty level each question is.

72/100 Fun format. The music between each guess drove me completely mad at the end. And difficulty could maybe ranged a bit more (making 8 points really harder than the 6).

Got 30. Thanks to Strauss, I am always astonished how many of these I know. The format is fun. What I didn´t enjoy so much was the repetitive music in between the guesses, I had problems to concentrate, my brain was confused by this. I´d rather have no music between the pieces I have to guess. Thanks, Dmitrii.

Apparently it's a matter of perception. After all, when preparing the quiz and its subsequent repeated viewing, I listened to Delibes at least 500 times and didn’t even pay attention to it)) I’ll think about what to do about it, but I don’t know for sure yet.

43/100. I think I worked that out correctly: it was a little confusing but became easier along the way. I agree with others' comments about the music between sections: it was distracting. Continuing the previous piece but fading it out slowly might work better, but I understand you are experimenting with the new format so no worries! I enjoyed this a lot and look forward to the next round. 👍👍👍👍👍

56/100. This was a lot of fun. The Strauss/Movie categories were the toughest for me overall. I was a bit confused by the initial layout but soon picked it up. I think this is a great format! Spasibo.

79/100 points. It's a fun format, but I felt like I needed to grab a pencil and paper to keep track of things (which I don't do on the usual 15 question format). While it might get cramped on the display, it might be easier to keep track of if you put the names of the pieces in the squares after the question was completed, because it's actually pretty easy to remember which individual pieces you got if you can see the answers. After the 4-point symphony clue, I was wondering what symphony would be more instantly recognizable/iconic as the 2-pointer, assuming that it wasn't likely to be by the same composer. I guessed correctly what it would be. Also, I am apparently just congenitally bad at identifying the Rachmaninov symphonies (unless it's the big tune from #2). I thought the "Strauss" category was cute because there were basically three likely composers in the category, but that's also where I missed a fair number of points.
@adiosmusictest
@adiosmusictest Ай бұрын
Thank you for the very detailed review. In principle, I like the proposal with the appearance of names, but I’m still thinking about how best to do this, because there is very little space on the screen, and removing stamps is technically not very easy. The first idea that came to my mind now is to display a summary table with all the names at the very end.

58/100, counting composers and piece titles but not film titles. It’s fun to score myself! But I had to mute the Delibes every time. (The timing is good, but I don’t want to hear an excerpt of ANY piece repeated 20 times. Especially with listening quizzes, I would prefer silence to music filler.) The difficulty rankings seem fair. Most of the pieces I know, I recognized in the first 2 seconds.
@adiosmusictest
@adiosmusictest Ай бұрын
Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the repetition of the same music during pauses, I understood that I needed to take something not distracting, but apparently I need to find very simple background music or do it as before, just continue playing the chosen piece. In general, I will think about this issue. I haven’t thought about doing silence yet, but maybe it’s worth testing this option.

46/100. Different, so took a little getting used to. My most embarrassing moment: I was so concerned with the country for one of the pieces in that category, I forgot to name the composer to myself, although I knew that, so no points. I'd like to see some more like this.

Very interesting concept but I wouldn't mind if you kept the pieces' names on the pictures after revealing them so it would be easier to count the points. I'm not sure of my total count but I must be somewhere under 70.

I’ll try to add names to the release of the next part, but I don’t want to remove the brands just yet (maybe I’ll change my mind). For now, I’m leaning towards creating a final list with all the names. Thanks for your comment.

I missed the answers the first time because I was writing them down on a piece of paper, and didn't realize you were answering them as you went. I thought the countries were for the composer's nationality at first too, so I wrote France for Saint-Saens and Germany for Mendelssohn heh. Not a bad variant on the quiz though, I nailed the Strauss category at least.
