Why does everyone say this? Hoe means garden tool, it never means “immoral pleasure seeker”. Being immoral doesn’t necessarily mean you’re having paid sex, which is what the slang word “hoe” or “ho” means. And that’s besides the fact that hoe is not even the always agreed upon spelling. It’s short for “whore” so it’s most likely intended to be “ho”.

@88porpoise13 күн бұрын
They were planning for Ken even before Alex died. He was apparently slated to guest host as a trial run and to give Alex a break the week after Alex died and production was paused. If Alex lived a month longer, there is likely a smooth transition to Ken. The whole host search was set up by a producer to try and justify naming himself as host and when that blew up, they couldn't just hire Ken (the obvious choice from the start), so they brought in Mayim as well to look like the search did something.

@@RadioactiveSherbet The issue is "treason" means something different today. Historically it meant any betrayal of someone you owed loyalty to. The highest person you owed loyalty to being the monarch and betrayal of them (or an official of said monarch) amounted to "high treason". Later this became the treason we recognize today as betrayal of the state. Petty treason would apply to any betrayal of someone you owed loyalty to other than that. For example, a priest who betrayed his superior or a servant who betrayed their master or a wife who betrayed her husband (not vice versa). Over time what offenses constitutes petty treason would be reduced by statute until it was removed entirely with people just prosecuted for the underlying acts and with it gone there was no need to specify "high treason" so it just became "treason"
