Enjoyed the reaction of The Sounds of Silence. You might want to see Tim Foust sing with The Hound and Fox. Adam Chance also performs with them. The Hound and Fox sing primarily folk songs. The Hound and Fox were the couple in Home Free's mashup of Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On. They were also were the unappreciative couple with the small child (their son) listening to the Home Free Christmas carolers on Home Free's video Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.

Great reaction. You might be interested in Peter Hollens and Tim Foust singing The Hobbit's Misty Mountain. Also, Rob Lundquist and Austin Brown singing Nessum Dorma together might interest you. Rob's professors at the University of Minnesota where he majored in music encouraged him to have a career in opera. Rob, however, decided on another career path. Austin encouraged Rob to sing the aria. Rob who hadn't sung opera in years took a month to prepare for the aria. Rob insisted that Austin sing with him in the video. Austin doesn't have operatic training. He has instead musical theater training. Still, Austin was able to hit the aria's high notes. Rob and Austin were nervous when they released the video about the fans' reaction. The fans were shocked at how different they sounded, especially Rob. He sounds very different than he does singing with Home Free. Despite the nervousness of Rob and Austin, the response of the fans was very positive.

I've only recently found your channel and am catching up on your playlists, so I'm a few months late so you probably won't see this. My dad died during covid. Not from covid but because of covid and the lack of care he was receiving due to overstretched doctors and nurses. He went into hospital for 2 weeks and we never saw him again. When you said about "how many people saw each other for the very last time" I broke. It's been 3.5 years since my dad died and I think I've been completely numb until this moment when you said that. I've always found it really difficult that dad died during covid but not of covid. I feel this was kind of forgotten about knowing people who lost family members because of covid and they were all experiencing this same loss together and my experience wasn't the same. I don't know if "thank you" is appropriate for me being able to finally acknowledge and feel my grief but I guess that's all I've got. So, thank you.

I was in an a cappella concert choir in high school, but wasn’t confident in my singing anymore. I have so much respect for your knowledge of and passion for music. It's wonderful to see how much you care, for even the tiniest, details. I love that you share all of that. And you are so kind and open with and about everything. Ps. You got really pretty eyes and a lovely voice😊. Stay happy, healthy and safe.

A powerful version indeed, it was such a uplifter in these hard times, and an Home Free and Peter collab is always a perfect match, try their "Amazing Grace" one's 😊 Thx Sir ❤🍟

Love your reactions and analytical breakdowns. To further explore Peter Hollens' layering, please take note of his "I see fire" video. It is astonishing! Enjoy!

And there were a lot of really interesting collaborations during the pandemic. Two, I particularly enjoyed were one by a ton of Broadway stars and the one I loved the most was a collaboration of a Christian song called "the Blessing" which was put together from countries and languages around the world, singing a prayer of blessing on each other. It was awesome.

Loved the reaction and analysis! The opening pictures are from when they recorded the video for their version of Amazing Grace which I highly recommended you checking out. Keep ‘em coming.

I love how music can reach to a persons soul and leak down their face.

I was going to recommend that too. Just checking to see if anyone beat me to it. His video for that song is amazing! Talk about being the Master of layering!!

This was filmed separately in their individual locales - kudos to the editors! The singing, harmonies & beatboxing are outstanding. I think you'd enjoy Austin's latest original "I'll Go First" (have tissues on hand). Peter & Tim's renditions of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" & "Green Sleeves" are terrific. Thanks for playing this & your insights.

I love to watch your videos, I always learn and also hear something I missed until you point it out. I also appreciate how you break it down and make it make sense. Thanks for sharing sending love from a Glasgow Nana x

You even noticed Dogg! ❤ Peter is a brilliant arranger, isn’t he? I think you may have reacted to Peter and Tim on Misty Mountains from The Hobbit. It’s gorgeous and haunting. ❤

I always love the collaboration between Peter Hollens and Home Free. The voices of Peter Hollens and Home Free fit together so well. (And the Patreons) Doesn't this sound amazing? Here, too, the harmony and background, bass is perfect again. And let's not forget Adam Rupp with his incredible vocal percussion/vocal sounds, which unifies everything.

VoicePlay did a collab also during lock down to the song Just Sing. If you do that one, turn on your CC as they tell you who each guest is and some comedy.

Another feel good "we're all in this together" pandemic video is "Together" by For King and Country and a couple other artists. Genuinely brought me to tears.
