I still remember the scene when this song was played. When Ji An walked in the street with her grandmother sitting on the trolley and for a moment, they both looked at the big shinning moon. It was so emotional, so beautiful, so sad but somehow it was a happy moment because it's a beautiful memory between those two P.S: You guys should react to IU's version. This was a great surprise for me when the classical musician reacted to this song and it appears on my subscription feed especially since I would assume Kpop Idol would receive the majority of the love. I always had a good feeling for the song before I sleep and it will literally calm me down along with Adult(OST) by Sondia and Through the Night by IU. Basically lullaby me to sleep. Although the comment section is filled with this, I will be adding more to it by giving "My Mister" my full approval and recommendation for fellow Kdrama viewers. This OST in itself is great as the musician loves it but the drama elevated it to a higher peak. I will just say that the "moon" appears quite frequently in the drama and a grandma actress plays the significant role of making the "moon" and the OST ever so deeply. My mister/ahjusshi is my 2018 best drama and I hope you will give it a try till the end. It could be dark and depressing but the light will come at the very end of the journey. Prepare your tissues and give some love to the cast of My Mister.

One of the few K-dramas i've watched where the two main leads don't have over the top acting, yet they're pretty subdued and rely more on natural emotions rather than forcing exaggerated expressions. Also the cinematography is amazing

Hands down the best South Korean drama of 2018!! No doubts!! If you haven't watched it, go out and do it. It's available on the internet with subtitles. I gave it a 10/10 rated. If you like meaningful slice of life, you'll know I haven't steered you wrong!

Wow! Tremendous breakdown! I was searching songs from previous kdrama (making a list of favorites) and I came across the series "My Mister" and song "Dear Moon." First I easily remembered the song when I heard JeHwi's version, then was awed with IU's version and mesmerized with the breakdown. Everything I felt and couldn't put into words these classical musicians did so eloquently and with ease. I liked and agreed when one of the musicians said that the ending was like "Bohemian Rhapsody (5:49)." Bravo to all involved including the cute moon staring grandma in the cart. 👍🙏❤

My mister is the best series I have ever seen. Story, acting and OST. I can't find a weakness. I have never seen anything come close to it And there are other great songs in there there too. But the song I would love to hear their view of is Heize You're cold from its ok to not be ok. It is so different from anything else I have heard. Everything about My Mister is just fantastic. It takes the No.-2 spot on my all time favorites list, second only to Mr. Sunshine. I'd never describe this song as tranquil, though. Maybe that's because it's inextricably linked to the story. Melancholy is perfect. Our heroine is locked away in her emotional/psychological panic room, safe from the assaults of a Very Hostile world, waiting for the day it's finally safe to leave. Just my takeaway from the song/show. YMMV, and likely does.
