If you analyze it from its lyrics, actually the genre changes make sense! Bc the lyrics is about a conversation between a girl "who got a boy" and her friends, and they keep changing pov between the girl and her friends. I Got A Boy is like a mini musical drama - from the intro to closure. The genre and beat changes actually follow the lyrics along, and when they change pov/going to the next scene, the genre and beat change too. I Got A Boy is truly ahead of its time.

Yep, Loved GG the most, and left K-pop for a long time. After listening to TWICE 'TT' it felt very nostalgic, ever since that time i was following their musics, and it was different yet it was very familiar. Just watch their MV's and choreography it will give that feeling. Lyrically not so much to dive into but it's ok, As long as they are pretty i can turn blind eye to their lyrics.

And IGAB was the starting point of early 2013 when it's released that some groups did comeback with this 'mix&match' songs after this which shows that they're kind of role model to other groups at that time.
