I luv how you noticed the long phrase run. Most people miss it cuz they're still stunned from the whistle and the key change... I never cared for other people's reaction to an artist until I found her. Seeing people's honest, fresh, pure reaction to her never gets old. The whistle tone was impressive but that run at the end was even more amazing! To sustain that full voice with dips and crescendos for at least 10 seconds without taking a breath and no loss of power was absolutely incredible! I don’t think I’ve heard another pop singer do that, ever!

My favorite singer/performer in the world. Wait til u see and hear her on stage standing up. She has a huge range, vocal and breath control, whistle notes, growls and squeaks.....and the emotion and passion that she brings to every performance. She is way more than just a world class singer. This is one of 3 hallmark performances she has on the Wish Bus, the other 2 are her renditions of Never Enough and Rise Up. 3 very different songs that really showcase the range of her talent. Tnx for appreciating the raw talent of the Pilipino Multi-Awarded Morissette dubbed as Asia's Phoenix. FYI, Rhett Lawrence, Mariah Carey's Producer heard her on YT, amazed and satisfied, he went to the Philippines to watch her on Concert and ended up as her Concert Producer and had so many Concerts in Canada, US, London, and the Middle East. Disney handpicked her and Darren Espanto (Pilipino-Canadian) to do a Movie Soundtrack "A Whole New World" of the latest Aladdin for promotion and was invited to meet the Composer himself Alan Menken and even had a Duet with her while the Genie, Will Smith watched with amazement. BTW, the Squeaks, Growls, and Whistle are Morissette's Signature. Well. you just barely scratch the Talent surface of Pilipino Artists, it's all over YT. Excellent reaction. New subscriber here. Morissette is only 24 but an immense talen that is growing by leaps and bounds. My recommendations would be to listen to Fly Like a Bird her Mariah Carey jazzy cover Her new live Session cover of Defying Gravity from the broadway musical a Wicked is amazing. On the WishBus her cover of Rise Up is amazingly heartfelt and Never Enough gives you her rich low tones and amazing belting I’d also recommend her raw version of Halo with her playing guitar alone in a field. Amazing. Definitely listen to more to get a deeper appreciation of this rare and genuine talent.

Great reaction and I loved it so I subbed. Fact is, you barely scratched Morissette's songbook/MVs! Morissette, dubbed Asia's Phoenix, is in my opinion the most versatile singer in the world now. Throw any song at her from practically all music genre and she will do it with ease and aplomb. From rock to R&B, pop, worship songs, Motown, rap, jazz, Disney, Broadway etc etc. she can do them all. She also plays the piano and guitar; she is a good dancer, and is an actress too. It also doesn't hurt that she is beautiful inside and out. She speaks English fluently and that really helps her especially when getting interviewed (she does not need an interpreter!). And no, I am not her PR man, LOL! My suggestion to you? Visit her KZbin channel where she had put out all kinds of stuff and videos while on quarantine. Two notable songs she has at this channel are Fly Like a Bird, a Mariah Carey cover and Rise Up by Andra Day, a 2020 version sung with an a capella group called 3rd Avenue. If you can react to those, that would be awesome. Thanks!

In Filipino language, the letter A 's in every word is pronounced as A in apple is pronounced. Akin ka na lang means Please be mine..... a love song about a woman's love that is unreciprocated by the man she loves.

Morisette and SoHyang are called the Maria Carey of their country. Morissette is Filipino and SoHyang is Korean. Their role-models are Mariah ,Celine and Whitney. The great belters and Whistle-tones singers; SoHyang sang"I have nothing " Higher than Whitney. Listen to her "Lean on me in the presense of Micheal Bolton !Katrine Velarde is the same caliber of Morissette; Katrina's lung power longet note ever belted= 31 sec with the same song "Akin Ka Na Lang".
