why does it have to be emailed . these days people just directly download. Oh right I see. You know that really makes me angry. you are a classical guitar site not a dodgy second hand car dealer! i fill in my email to get the download and get a message saying " thank you for subscribing" Really???? you feel you have to *trick* people into subscribing??? listen you aren't going to make any friends doing things like that.

You don't have to confirm the subscription. And Internet is not about getting everything for free.

@@ingomuller6117 No one suggested it was about getting things for free (unless they are offered of course).the subscription is automatic no confirmation needed. I didn't force anyone to offer a free pdf they did that off their own bat. If they don't want to offer free pdfs, then don't. But if they do then don't complain when people accept the offer. Just don't surreptitiously make people subscribe without telling them, I actually think that is technically illegal and as I said, what's the point? they won't make any friends doing that. If they want more subscriptions, be a good teaching site and the news with get round, doing stuff like this will have the opposite effect-

Khasab, I'm afraid you're mistaken. You don't have to subscribe to get the download. It is pretty sweet to get this level of instruction on ornamentation with a download for a study guide and a note to where one might find more. All the best, cheers.
