I am a great admirer of the music of Antonio Vivaldi. I am an adult flute student from India, and I became interested in Western classical music because of Señor Vivaldi's music. I have been to Venice twice to look for the house "Ospedale della pietà" where Señor Vivaldi was a violin teacher. He was a very successful opera composer and was forced to leave Italy and come to Vienna. He died in poverty. Johan Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi died on the 28th of July.

Cherubini once stated about the flute, if there is anything worse than one flute, it is two flutes. This in the time of the pre-acoustic flute invented by Theobald Boehm circa 1825 to 35? Tartini wrote great concertos for the flute as well, his A Major has a great adagio
