This is the stage that got me hooked on cycling. I found a sport where little guys like me can make big guys cry.

I was there on the col de galibier and whilst I knew what I had just witnessed was pretty epic I never thought it would go on to be one of the most historical and memorable stages of the Tour de France ever. I can’t begin to tell you how cold it was that day in the driving rain at altitude and I was not riding!

Coppi cheated too. The sport will never be clean if we don’t continuously call out the cheaters. Otherwise they’ll end up with a podcast.

@@davebrooks3781 Merckx and Anquetil were dopers as well. But nobody ever dare to remove their victories from the rolls of honor

Is that John Tesh commentating? I recognize Phil and Paul, but I never watched the US feeds 🤔

And we're they ever in the same room? The American sounds like he's in a sound booth 😕

It's like a who's who of dopers, with the chief apologist for them commentating.

He can never be considered one of the best, he cheated. Plain and simple.

Obviously you know nothing about the sport of professional cycling.
