Recently found your channel & subscribed. Fantastic videos & editing. Just wanted to ask about your T120 with regards the wheels, are you running tubed or tubeless conversion? I'm keen to do many long trips including the NC500 on my newly acquired T100 but the thought of such trips on tubed wheels is putting me off slightly.
@ClassicRides Жыл бұрын
Hi Mike, glad you’re enjoying the videos. I’m running just the standard wheels and tubes, I’m not sure I 100% trust those ‘masking tape’ inside the wheel conversions 😁. Getting a puncture is a big worry to be fair, I had three last summer and I found that getting hold of tubes is what caused the biggest delay, so I carry one with me on longer trips now. Coupled with that I have AA assist where they’ll take me anywhere I want, so if I can find a Triumph dealership nearby I’ll go for that and beg for them to replace my tube there & then. Otherwise I’m just careful when filtering in the dirty parts of the road as that’s where I got all my punctures from.
@mikeallen789 Жыл бұрын
@@ClassicRides Thanks for the reply much appreciated. Think I'll look into carrying a spare inner tube for touring trips but not sure how easy it will be to get the tyre off at the side of the road though. at least it offers a bit of back up I suppose.
@ClassicRides Жыл бұрын
@@mikeallen789 oh you 100% won’t be able to get the tyre off at the side of the road, poor design by triumph means the beads are too strong to break by hand. The tube is so that if you get recovered to a garage, you won’t have to wait a day for them to order one (as most places won’t stock one).

Hi Matt thinking of getting one of them tents what's your view on it .thanks john
@ClassicRides2 жыл бұрын
I think it’s brilliant, super easy to put up and take down, seems very well made and the black-out interior is great for sleeping and not boiling alive when the sun gets on it. The only downsides are it doesn’t pack down very small (fills a 30ltr duffle bag) and it’s actually not that long, so I’d say if you’re taller than 5’9”-ish you might find it a little cramped when lying down.
