@@bon12121 problem with that is the direction you're traveling relative to your stance lol. A switch 5-0 is different than a nose grind in that while your feet are in the same position, in the nose grind you're going towards the opposite direction

@@JuanCarlos-qz9jt Don't quote me on it but I remember Jamie saying something a few years ago along the lines of they were struggling to get enough sales with all of the big shoebrands jumping on the skating bandwagon such as Nike Addidas and stuff and they had a few unfortunate events that led to it stopping. I think they had a whole factory of Shoes for a whole season somehow get mouldy. Can't remember if it was a flood or something. Anyway stoked its back!

Chris Cole is easily my all-time favorite skater when it comes to style. Everything he does is so smooth and effortless. When he floats through the air he looks like a majestic punk rock swan. Plus, when I was a kid he wasn't exactly young, so that fact that he still has it like that is amazing. Props.

Video came out when I was 16.. time flies. Moved on from skating, but love coming back to these from time to time. This era, to me, was the best. Had a lot of tech, but not TOO too technical if that makes sense

But im still watching skate videos to this day, ( thanks to youtube) i will bet any amount of money, tht you will never stop watching skate videos. In many ways this could be the best part of all time. Tech gnar style. The day I opened the mag to see the sequence of the backside nose grind Nollie big heel or whatever, bolts too. Trying to understand the trick even had me questioning if it was photo shopped some how.

I'd say that Chris Cole's "Ride the Sky" is comparable to Ryenold's "Say Gold" parts. Both Cole and Reynolds were just absolutely going for broke in both of those. Really just blows my damn mind how crazy the tricks in this are... Like how it's even possible. Especially when you think how much of this is nollie/switch.

Dudes an absolute beast! He always stood out to me for being one of the main guys during the 2000s who was able to do big rails, gaps and tech stuff while having good style and trick selection. Another thing is that I don't think Chris was naturally great at skating. If you watch his early parts you'll see that he's really come a long way from so many years of dedication and that's something I respect. To me, this is his greatest part. The whole damn thing is done properly. Thanks for the inspiration Chris! You're forever a hero of mine ✌️
