This was a great sprint, although Petter's bad luck this season doesn't seem to end. Awesome Stina, awesome Johannes, both did so well. I was rooting for Jessie Diggins, as always, but it's obvious that she needs to do a lot more work with her uphill technique. Best men's sprint team Norway's ever sent to the WC? I mean, when Northug's the one least likely to win, things have changed.

It was not her uphill technique but her choice of line that cost her. Pretty much every heat every time, those that went to the inside on the big hill paid the price.

Or a combination of the two. I mean, she's never been a good hill climber, her main forte is 5 km freestyle races with technically demanding courses like in Toblach. I'm hoping she'll be at her best in the sprint and team sprint in Lahti, that would be so cool.

Seriously, when the hell will David Goldstrom realize that the current lucky loser positions are marked with a blinking, green light? He's always messing around with time comparisons, making wild (and half of the time wrong) guesstimations as to which skiers are currently holding the lucky loser positions, saying that he's currently waiting for official confirmation on his estimate, while the official confirmation is right there, blatantly obvious on the screen for all to see. Please tell me that the Eurosport commentators somehow aren't presented with these blinking green lights when someone sets a time good enough for at lucky loser position, because if they get the same pictures as every one else, it's quite frankly embarrasing to see them fumble around with this shit after every single heat (safe for the finals, of course) in every single sprint event of the season.

tomorrow Justyna podium !

I'm sorry but Björgen wants revenge from today, and Weng, Östberg, Pärmäkoski, Kalla will all be too hard. Maybe Justyna can get 6-10th place at best.

I think so, too. Bjørgen's distance shape is pretty much on par with where she was before she had her kid, whereas Justyna has some way to go before she's in peak shape. But I definitely hope Justyna will be back 100% for Lahti, the world of XC skiing needs her. EDIT: Responding to Johan Mattson regarding Bjørgen, not Justyna making the podium. YT jumbling comments around for some reason.

Eurosport continues to disappoint me. Like shouldn't they at the end list the overall standings? Also they're talking about the track and other trivial garbage when they should've been telling us how Randall qualified when she didn't get too two but apparently a lucky looser? Idk just sub par on Eurosport's end
