Not a farmer, but always loved sitting on and looking at my uncle's tractors and implements. You've got city people fans too. I enjoy your channel.

very nice classic. We farmed with a John Deere AR and John Deere 70. Love the sound. Both standard. Wheat contry.

Wow, great classic 630 John Deere, we've had several JD's. My oldest son has a 4020, which I have with a 1020 currently on my farm, my stepdad had a 2010 and my dad had (2)820's. Turns out the Schnarre family are not far away, I too am a fellow Missourian. Loved this one a lot, thanks for sharing.

My grandpa has a 50, a 430, a 530, and a 630. He bought them restored so each of his grandsons could have a tractor to remember him by

Well, I wouldn't have to go very far to see his tractors. I live in Columbia, MO, and grew up south of Hannibal, MO. I am old enough to remember when those tractors were 'field' tractors. They did the heavy work of farming while the older, smaller tractors, like my Dad's F-12 was considered a 'chore tractor.' When I was young, we didn't have cabs on tractors, let alone air conditioning. We have come a long way and I think it is for the better. Thank God you don't have to get burnt to a cinder by the Missouri summer sun.

My grandpa bought the 2010 in 1960 which was near the same horsepower as 630
@Skyhawks1979 Жыл бұрын
Ive operated both. The only thing I prefer about the 2010 was the foot clutch. Otherwise Id rather have the 630.

The last two cylinder John Deeres made were the 830 and 730. The 330, 430, 530, 630, 730 and 830 were all produced in 1958 through 1960 except the 830 and 730 were last made in 1961. I owned the 84 horse 830 which was the largest. Great plow tractor and started with the gasoline pony motor.

Were all John Deere 630s "gasoline only"? ,,( some of its predecessors were not.) (other than L.P.G.)

Available in gas, LP gas, or all fuel, not diesel.

these awesome work horse tractors will be around way after the new age junk is at the scrap yard. these over complicated messes of tractors now days are just silly with the over engineering. Why cant our d a govt say hey anything under 100 hp keep it simple for the small farmer so they dont need degrees to make a simple repair on their tractors. I think these nice old machines including the other brands too will maintain a good value for another whole generation at least. Once you plow with a nice heavy old tractor you will hate a new feather light machine they make now days you need 4x4 because they wont pull nothing in 2x4 Ive been on old JD and fords and mahindras that had plenty of weight from the factory and didnt need 4x4!!!

I've heard developing the 3010/4010 tractor was like a 7 year pregnancy.
