Never heard of the Eshelman garden tractor, sure is a plain Jane and down to earth little one. I like it, the simpler the better!

The drive system to the rear wheels with the ball and a lobe reminds me of the Briggs and Stratton recoil pull rope starter on some models..

I’ve heard of them before and knew they built cars too. Neat old tractor. Thanks. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋

The grill made me think it was an International Harvester as I can see an "I" inside of an "H" in it... I was wrong of course, and have never heard of these... Great job...

A rare and crude machine by today's standards, But I guess you gotta start somewhere

Interesting. I like simple machines, as long as they can really accomplish real & useful tasks, but less interested if they have serious flaws. I just do not know enough about these little machines. --I tried to look up more data about these machines but it info is pretty scarce, such as how long they were manufactured and from when to when. Was 1953 the first year & when was the last year offered? It would be great to hear even more details about the interesting drive-train & how dependable these units were when regularly maintained & used as a garden tractor, and other details such as the overall weight (about 325-350 lbs with the hood??), hp offered (5-6 hp??) with the different engines, etc. How would the brothers rate this machine compared to the other garden tractors they own regarding its usefulness? Any ideas (perhaps from a brochure) on what attachments were offered for this unit? Any ideas as to the numbers ever built (I know it has to be pretty low)?

They need to take it apart again and work on that back axle that's wobbling like crazy
