Was lucky enough to meet Jimmie walker at a comedy show in Drexel hill pa very down to earth he was dynamite 🙂

It is weird how the guy who played J.J. was only 8 years younger than the guy who played his dad. And at the same time, also equally weird how the dad was 19 years younger than the woman (Esther Rolle) who played his wife.

I watched this with a huge smile on my face remembering this show. At the time we didn’t care for the portrayal of black life being so comical, but J.J. Walker was really funny.

I read somewhere that the producers of Happy Days went live before a studio audiance partially due to the reactions Jimmie Walker was getting on Good Times. They even went catchphrase crazy once "Dy-No-Mite!" became mega popular.

I WAS YOUNG, BUT LOVED J.J. I ALWAYS KNEW EVERYBODY WAS BLACK AT ONE TIME AND SKIN TONE WAS RELATIVE TO THE U.V. RAY'S. I WAS BORN WITH 175 I.Q., BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF ASD THAT I HAD THAT MADE CURIOUS AND I KNEW ABOUT COMPUTER'S THAT PLAYED VIDEO'S AND STORED PHOTO'S , WHEN MY MUM'S BOSS SHOWED ME HIS IBM COMPUTER! I SAID THAT COMPUTER'S IN THE 70'S WERE PRIMITIVE.... SO I GREW UP SEEING AND LOVING ALL PEOPLE -I STILL DO! SO, I FELL IN LOVE WITH J.J. WHEN I WATCHED GOOD TIME'S! HE REALLY MADE THE SERIES! I'M 60 AND MY SPOUSE IS 70- I WAS BORN IN THE YEAR OF THE RABBIT. AND EVERY 12 YEAR'S IT COMES AROUND AND LIKE WHEN I WAS BORN MOST HOLIEST MONTH IN THE JEWISH CALENDAR COMBINED WITH THE MOST LUCKIEST CHINESE YEAR..,COMBINE THE TWO AND ALL THING'S ARE POSSIBLE WITH ELOHIYM! I LEARNED , IF MEMORY SERVES THAT THE CHAP PLAYING J.J. WAS BORN IN OCTOBER! I USE TO READ ALL THE PERIODICAL MAGAZINE'S CONNECTED TO FAVOURITE MUSIC AND TELLY.
