⚠️SPOILER ALERT! - Read that when Classix Nouveau decided to call it a day, Sal Solo took all the Classix Nouveau Memorabilia, Rare Footage, Costumes etc ,down to the City Dump and Threw It All Away, leaving it for junk!!😢. So, somewhere between Wales and England, where all the computer hard drives go to die, still containing 7,500 Bit Coins on their files!-!🤣, also lay much 'Classical Stuff' of the Nouveaux variety! So you're almost definitely, the only hope for Classix Nouveaux's posterity!

Fantastic band, how on Earth they did not become bigger than they were is beyond me. Great loss for music scene. Thank you do much for preserving this stellar performance in such a great quality!

Too True! 👍 I think it may have something to do with the 'Bela Lugosi/ Nosferatu' like image that Sal had, that was in stark contrast to the pretty-boy image of most other New Romantic bands, that and their 'hard' driving sound, probably scared many girls away (50%+ of your potential audience!). Also, on that note (which I very much liked), that CN didn't write trashy pop rubbish, about 'how much they wanted to get some Girl to be their baby', etc. To quote Talk Talk, it's "Such A Shame", because CN music really had something Unique about it, that should've seen them Shine Much Brighter-!! (Always thought they must've had some Girl doing backing vocals for them, - that can't be a guy can it? - oh yes it can be!!) I think it's on his 'solo'😁 album liner notes, that Sal mentioned how (like so many other bands), they didn't really get looked after by their record company (US-based subsidiary) for studio time budgets, and promotional wise, etc., and so unlike the Duran's of the day, it was quite a struggle for them to continue, sadly!😢

@@Maverick-to7no You know, the more I read about show business the more I'm astonished as it appears carriers of countless bands are thwarted by record companies' ineptness or shake-ups or even complete whims while those who do break through are either lucky or groomed for success from the start. Hardly a behaviour of people who are in the right business or at least know what they are doing! So it saddens me no end to realize bands like CN were simply ignored most of the time and had their rare breakthroughs not from label's assistance or guidance but from various sudden and fleeting things like a right TV appearance. CN had so much to say and were simply not promoted - how's that? I'm not only sad, I'm furious actually!

Sal Solo's style of Leather and PVC was wonderful. So ahead of his time and he was so stick thin. And with that bold head his looks was so fabulous! Mik Sweeney, he is a NEW ROMANTIC GOD!

@@ScottishTeeVee Nothing to worry about, they were Something Else, that sadly didn't get the recognition they deserved! ... [ "Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race." - Calvin Coolidge ] That probably cuts a long story short, to quote a Spandau Ballet song.

Voz linda, maravilhosa a desse rapaz. E sua aparência exótica era motivo de discussões aqui em casa, já que naquela época em algumas famílias havia muitas regras desnecessárias e até um tanto ridículas. 🥵🥵 ❤️🔥💖🎤🎸🎸🎻🥁📻📺⚔️🗡️🛡️📜

This is one of the most original, and spectacular, songs ever, but the video should be remastered, and re-edited so as to replace the kitsch bits (some would even say creepy) with, e.g., footage of their live appearances.
