👩🏼‍🏫 Classroom prep after the bell

Come with me a 5th grade teacher after the bell. Today my student's wrote letters to governors of different states for their state project. I made sure to check the addresses so they get sent to the correct place. After school I had some energy and was feeling creative so I made an anchor chart about scientific arguments. Tomorrow we will learn the concept, then the students will create their own argument. I put this anchor chart up on our classroom focus wall. After that, I have a food chain card game they will play. If they finish that, then we can get to some holiday activities.
